<mistermasque> Hi, I would like to package my new simple backup script for Yunohost : https://github.com/Mistermasque/yuno-archive How to create a new App repo : yuno-archive_ynh ?
[14:18:11]
<m606> Hello, generally you would:
1. create `yuno-archive_ynh` repo on your Github account
1. [package your app](https://doc.yunohost.org/en/packaging_apps) and test that it installs as expected on your instance
1. [submit app to catalog](https://github.com/YunoHost/apps#how-to-add-your-app-to-the-application-catalog) and wait for review.
1. an admin will invite you to Yunohost-Apps organization to which you will be able to transfer your repo.
Maybe 3 should come before 4 (you can ask here again after 2)?

<mistermasque> Thanks, I'll do that Packaging in progress ... 😀

I meant maybe 4 should come before 3 🪄

<m606> to package a script, I guess you will want to create a config panel which act as a GUI for the user, and then triggers calls to `yuno-archive.sh` via the `scripts/config` file of your package: https://doc.yunohost.org/en/packaging_config_panels#custom-getters-setters-va

<mistermasque> Of course, I've been already testing this functionality for another dummy test. Thanks for the link 🙂

<miro5001> What licences does this have (apart from mpl2)? Unknown!

<Salamandar> because of https://github.com/vectordotdev/vector/blob/master/license-tool.toml

We can transfer the repo before the number 2
It will be way easier for to test the package

Yes. What does it mean? If I wanted to package it
