- that script tried to fetch the uMap package from github, but we removed the branch it was pointing on (as we now have a new release)
- so the upgrade failed, so it tried a restore, but the restore failed too after a successful uninstall, so now we more or less have lost everything
That was only test data, so there is no consequences, but it's a bit scary if this could happen for real, so maybe we need assistance to understand and correctly setup the upgrade/restore scripts

I've started learning django and it took me about 6 months to get a small app here : https://github.com/DeMiro5001/linkdir
And I had a friend help me with js and css.
As you can see in the project, I've moved all the settings to a .env file so I can easily change settings.

<miro5001> I'm planning to add to my_djangoapp_ynh a check for a .env.example and use it if it exists. Users can download their django app, add an example of env file, archive it, move it to the server and use the archive as source of the app. Much easier than looking for settings folder, check which py file to use for production and store settings. I'm still brainstorming how to handle these cases
