[13:29:37] <sa> Hello
[13:29:55] <sa> Is Yunohost working ok with multiple mail domains?
[13:30:46] <sa> I configured it and it worked ok for some days, but now I am having a problem, I am suspecting it could be related to this thing of having only one Reverse DNS record
[13:31:46] <sa> So, can you have multiple mail domains working ok in one yunohost with only one public IP address?
[14:11:37] <lohangX> > I configured it and it worked ok for some days, but now I am having a problem, I am suspecting it could be related to this thing of having only one Reverse DNS record
What exactly is the problem you are having?
[14:13:01] <lohangX> > So, can you have multiple mail domains working ok in one yunohost with only one public IP address?
You certainly can do this. I've been running email for multiple domains for many years with a single IP, in one yunohost installation.
[14:40:15] <sa> lohangX: Thank you. Your words makes me happy. One moment and I'll explain the problem.
[15:24:48] <sa> In my machine1 I have my yunohost with email of my domainone.tld and it works great. It is at 111.111.111.111, with its reverse DNS record configured.
[15:25:02] <sa> Somewhere else, I have my different machine2 which runs a website of my domaintwo.tld at 222.222.222.222
[15:25:11] <sa> Recently, I configured in my yunohost (machine1) domaintwo.tld with nothing in it, and also configured the domain mail.domaintwo.tld where I did enable email.
[15:25:19] <sa> Then I configured DNS for domaintwo.tld:

[15:25:36] <sa> A @ 111.111.111.111
CNAME www domaintwo.tld
CNAME * domaintwo.tld
MX @ mail.domaintwo.tld
A mail 222.222.222.222
CAA mail 0 issue "letsencrypt.org"
and the SPF(TXT) record
and the other TXT records as Yunohost tells me but removing the dot and the subdomain
[15:25:52] <sa> I configured the mailbox for user2@domaintwo.tld in my mail client using "mail.domaintwo.org" as the name server for SMTP and IMAP.
[15:26:01] <sa> It all worked great for some days. Perhaps a couple of weeks.
[15:26:27] <sa> Now, without having changed anything (but perhaps some Yunohost update) I keep being able to send from user2@domaintwo.tld but I cannot receive any mail.
[15:26:48] <sa> What tests could I do to find where the problem is?
[15:27:04] <sa> I have found an online tool which says that it cannot connect to the mail server at domaintwo.tld
[15:27:29] <sa> However when I run that tool on mail.domaintwo.tld it seems everything is ok but on little thing it says "Reverse DNS is not a valid Hostname"
[15:28:01] <sa> Don't know how relevant this info is, I'm a bit lost and don't know how to troubleshoot
[15:28:18] <sa> Any input is very much welcome !
[17:47:05] <sa> Now I have checked with a third test mail domain I configured equally. And on this test domain mail does work ok. And that online tools complains about the same on this working test domain. So I guess it isn't relevant what that online tool tells me...
[18:29:15] <sa> So, what can I do to find the reason why mail can be sent but not received on domaintwo.tld? Mail works ok on my other domains on the same yunohost.
