[11:35:10] <Salamandar> No, but that shouldn't be too hard to implement :D
[11:35:10] <Owen> Does anyone know of any previous attempt(s) to package OpenSign for yunohost? (https://github.com/opensignlabs/opensign)
[11:35:10] <tituspijean> It's in the wishlist, feel free to vote: https://apps.yunohost.org/wishlist?search=OpenSign
In the meantime, there's SignaturePDF that offers to annotate files and has recently implemented signing the PDFs to attest they were not altered.
[11:35:26] <rodinux> Ok, also someone this morning visiting a yunohost instance with chromium have a got a red alert message site dangerous !!
[11:35:37] <rodinux> Oh, sorry, it was as the same time of the alert with tcp ports...

[11:36:20] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> there's an outaged on the infrastructure right now
[11:36:21] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> (expected ~45min before restart)
[11:36:37] <bamf> Hi, how can I choose a different directory for backups? The only option offered is `/home/yunohost.backup/`
[11:36:41] <Anmol> > <@bamf:matrix.f1sh.de> Hi, how can I choose a different directory for backups? The only option offered is `/home/yunohost.backup/`

Nice question. Related to this, I need to make the default location to other hdd I have for backup on same machine. I could I achieve this? And it how to restore from the backup which is not in /home/yunohost.backup/archive ? I always copy the backup to this folder and then do it. Otherwise it do not accept the backup name.
[11:36:42] <bamf> I just need to do one full backup to a network location. I do not have enough space to create and then move it

[11:45:38] <Steve> Is it a temporary thing? Should I start over?
[11:45:38] <Steve> Hello, I just wanted to install yunohost on a clean Debian 11 install, but got error message:

> \[FAIL\] Unable to update the system
[11:47:00] <tituspijean> Try again indeed, it looks like a connection issue on your end (the service is up for me)
[11:47:21] <Steve> I'm doing it on a VPS through ssh.
The VPS surely has internet connection, as I can access it.
[11:47:27] <bamf> same error via mail today:

```
Subject:
/etc/cron.daily/yunohost-fetch-apps-catalog:
Unable to download the default app catalog: Corrupted JSON read from https://app.yunohost.org/default/v3/apps.json (reason: Unterminated string starting at: line 1 column 65144 (char 65143))
```
[11:47:28] <tituspijean> Not same error, but something's definitely down
[11:47:30] <tituspijean> @Dzsingisz:matrix.org can you try `curl http://forge.yunohost.org/debian/pool/stable/y/yunohost-admin/yunohost-admin_11.2.8_all.deb` ?
[11:47:31] <tituspijean> @bamf:matrix.f1sh.deand indeed the file is corrupted, I'll try generating it again, but when I see "unterminated string at line 1 column 65165" it looks like a limit on the length of the file
[11:47:36] <Steve> I got this:

[11:48:38] <@err404:matrix.numericore.com> Steve: 'apt update' <-- did you try this command before all?
[11:48:39] <Steve> All packages are up to date.

[11:48:58] <tituspijean> I can replicate the issue for the catalog but cannot pinpoint its root cause. I have notified the remainder of the volunteers to see if there's someone with more expertise. (and also $dayjob is requesting some attention)
[11:49:03] <Steve> Thanks! Till then is there other way to install yunohost or should I wait?
[11:49:06] <tituspijean> wait, sorry :/
[11:49:36] <tituspijean> Issue should be solved now @Dzsingisz:matrix.org@bamf:matrix.f1sh.de
[11:49:37] <Steve> it works now
[11:49:37] <Steve> Thanks!
[11:49:37] <Steve> I had to wait 5 minutes. Wish every technical issue would be solved so fast. 😅
[11:49:37] <Steve> Yes, I can confirm
[11:49:38] <Anmol> I am trying to run and the wireguard. But its not working.
[11:49:38] <Anmol> Hi
[11:49:38] <Anmol> I am trying to use the default new configuration with my mobile.
[11:49:38] <Anmol> my server is on local ip 192.168.1.*
[12:44:47] <aekone> Hi! I'm trying to make a website hosted on my yunohost instance, following a tutorial. It says to install mongodb. Do you know if it is already installed, or if not, how to install it ? I dont want to break my server. Thx :)
[12:44:47] <Anmol> > <@aekone:x.zrx.one> Hi! I'm trying to make a website hosted on my yunohost instance, following a tutorial. It says to install mongodb. Do you know if it is already installed, or if not, how to install it ? I dont want to break my server. Thx :)

Its advance feature. You should take backup first. Install mongodb from apt the normal way. There is Yuno package too for doing the admin work(you can search the Yuno apps). By the way, how did you install the website?
[12:44:47] <aekone> Ok thanks. I think I will use a webapp if it is possibl
[12:44:48] <Anmol> > <@aekone:x.zrx.one> Ok thanks. I think I will use a webapp if it is possible

You can use redirect app too, if you are have reverse proxy. In most case it would be better choice.
[12:44:48] <aekone> (I'm learning)
[12:44:53] <aekone> I don't get it. The redirect app will redirect to where ? I need a place to host my php files
[12:44:57] <Anmol> for php files webapp is better.
[12:44:58] <Anmol> as webpapp is based on php.
[12:45:01] <aekone> ok thanks. So to understand it well, what is the structure of the other way of doing things (with the reverse proxy)?
[12:45:20] <Anmol> if you have something running on localhost/127.0.0.1:port then you can redirect app. If something related to php and web pages and mysql it would be better to go with mywebapp.
[12:45:27] <aekone> ok thanks for this light up, I get it better 👍️
[13:32:00] <philientaylor> I'm back to this old thread to say that browsing the YunoHost app store has been an absolute delight. Duniter??? I never heard of it and I already am excited for it!! Ghost is listed, too, yay, and the YunoHost package maintainers for Ghost are accommodating the MariaDB/MySQL shortcomings enough to have a recent version!! 🤩🤩✨✨
I still can't be happier with YunoHost's community and I have yet to get started installing it!! 😁💖 Thank you all!! *keeps reading* 🤩✨💖
[13:32:36] <philientaylor> Coin?? Headscale?? I am just so excited to get all this together and YunoHost has made it happen... Wow.
[13:32:36] <philientaylor> Can you give us a start from the beginning? Are you having issues with a wireguard client package or a server?
[13:45:17] <fyr659> is there an ejabbered based messenging app
[13:46:34] <Anmol> > <@philientaylor:gitter.im> Can you give us a start from the beginning? Are you having issues with a wireguard client package or a server?

I installed it normally and then made new connection and scanned though bar code on android mobile.
[13:47:24] <aekone> Ok, I will use the redirect app because I'm in a such situation. But, where should I put my files then ? (javascript files because I use Node.js)
[13:47:35] <aekone> I put them in /var/www/customfolder. Is that okay?
[13:58:39] <Anmol> > <@aekone:x.zrx.one> I put them in /var/www/customfolder. Is that okay?

What you are doing is an advance setup. I do not know what you want to achieve. But if you are experimenting with php go with webapp setup.
[13:58:43] <Anmol> I want : 1. see the sso login attempts(successful and unsuccessful). 2. Ban permanently an IP.
[14:00:54] <huskyz> I can't set up ssh login with key only. I did the command `sudo yunohost settings set security.ssh.password_authentication -v no` and it gave no errors. But if I try to log in from another pc where there is no private key, it asks me for the password and if I enter it correctly I can log in
[14:00:55] <huskyz> from the pc where I generated the key pair instead makes me do key authentication.
The two pcs are on different networks
[14:00:56] <huskyz> theoretically it should force key login on the second pc as well, right?
[14:01:11] <Florent> Hello, I'm running a Jellyfin instance on a yunohost hosted on a dedicated server and I have been receiving errors for weeks (a few months maybe) about ports 1900 and 7359 not being reachable from the outside. From what I read this is related to local network discovery, so pretty irrelevant in my case (dedicated remote server).

I was not receiving any error message in the past. So maybe it has been triggered by a Jellyfin update.

Has anybody experienced the same issue recently? I could not find any setting on the web UI (both jellyfin and yunh) to disable discovery on local network. Everything works fine, this is just a bit annoying because I am spammed by those issues by mail.

Thanks for your help 😉

Hi, Florent: I also suffer from this issue. My Jellyfin is at home and i've been receiving these warnings for about a month. I cannot access my Jellyfin server using Android TV apps. PC browser works well, though. I switched to YunoHost 12 beta so not sure it could be related to the upgrade or it has something to do with a Jellyfin update. I tried forwarding the ports on the router, but no help.
[14:37:47] <Florent> Thanks for the feedback. I did not switch to beta. Just the regular updates. I don't have an android TV to try unfortunately, but I can access from my regular android mobile, and through web browsers.
