[05:36:30] <IoMe> > hi, i need the documentation i get too 500 error
Me too!
[09:26:17] <Salamandar> it's fixed
[09:34:28] <@claush:matrix.org> I tried to update Tandoor from 1.5.19~ynh2 to 1.5.22~ynh1, but the process failed. The logs say: https://paste.yunohost.org/raw/nibizasejo. Does anybody have a hint for me what to do?

Try again, it's a network timeout
[09:36:52] <@claush:matrix.org> Okay, thanks. I already tried 3 times, but maybe four times is a charm. :-)

```
EmailPrivacyTester.com
Email Test de fuite IP
SSL-Tools.net Livraison du courrier
SSL-Tools.net Crypto du serveur de messagerie
ScanMyEmail — vérifie que votre configuration de messagerie est correcte lorsque vous utilisez un domaine personnalisé
```

[11:21:42] <Salamandar> ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
[12:10:27] <latte> Hi guys! I've just upgrade nextcloud app via WebAdmin and now is giving me the following security warning:

“Your data directory and files are probably accessible from the internet. The .htaccess file is not working. It is strongly recommended that you configure your web server so that the data directory is no longer accessible, or move the data directory outside the web server document root.”
[12:43:35] <cat17katze> Hello, I want to self host my personal mail too. But my ISPs business plan is too expensive in my area for getting a static ip. Do you know possibilities to use the integrated mail function for good mail functionality.

I want to do:
- personal mail sending and receiving
- send small newsletters
- password reset and account mailing
- php mail.
[12:47:37] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> not sure exactly what's the status but it's being discussed on the forum in some threads, I think at some point I saw that it was actually Nextcloud's check that was buggy
[12:48:56] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> cf https://github.com/YunoHost-Apps/nextcloud_ynh/issues/696#issuecomment-2255327975
[13:02:44] <latte> > not sure exactly what's the status but it's being discussed on the forum in some threads, I think at some point I saw that it was actually Nextcloud's check that was buggy
I have read through the forums as well and in principle the bug was fixed previously, but now in this new ynh version (28.0.9 if I remember correctly) it has reappeared. I have not touched anything in the configuration or config.php file.

I'll wait for now, but it's a bit scary to find that error there.

[14:37:15] <jeremy_jeey> Hello,

[14:40:46] <Etienne> > <@cat17katze:yatrix.org> Hello, I want to self host my personal mail too. But my ISPs business plan is too expensive in my area for getting a static ip. Do you know possibilities to use the integrated mail function for good mail functionality.

Hi, you can use a VPN, it's documented here :
https://yunohost.org/en/administer/how_to_host_yourself#at-home-behind-a-vpn
[14:43:28] <Etienne> You'll need a VPN that gives you static IP and port forwarding.

[15:30:39] <hercut> yunohost tools upgrade system ?

[15:31:30] <hercut> ``Error: You cannot do this right now because dpkg/APT (the system package managers) seems to be in a broken state… You can try to solve this issue by connecting through SSH and running `sudo apt install --fix-broken` and/or `sudo dpkg --configure -a` and/or `sudo dpkg --audit`.``

Ok :)

[15:40:30] <hercut> `apt-get purge php7.3-fpm` ?

[16:39:39] <rodinux> voilà, tu as migré sur Yunohost 12...
[16:39:46] <hercut> rho

[18:10:34] <xabi> Hi, I'm testing an OrangePi Zero 3 (I believe), 4GB. There are a few apps that I cannot install (Mastodon, Funkwhale, Synapse and Grist). Could you please take a look at the logs? it's not my main SBC so it's more out of curiosity than necessity. [This one is for Mastodon](https://paste.yunohost.org/raw/owiwihazev).
[18:15:51] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> hmmmweird
[18:15:51] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> `DEBUG - Error connecting to Redis on localhost:6379 (Errno::ECONNREFUSED)`
[18:15:56] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> ```

```
[18:16:12] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> for some reason redis cannot be started after it gets installed
[18:16:31] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> could you try manually `apt install redis-server` and then checking the logs with `journalctl -u redis-server -n 100 --no-pager --no-hostname`
[18:48:57] <xabi> how do I "check the logs with 'journalctl -u redis-server -n 100 --no-pager --no-hostname'"? Just copy the lines here?
[19:10:36] <xabi> Oh I think I know what you meant: https://paste.yunohost.org/qinufotose
yes, redis-server is down
[19:28:54] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> ```
Nov 18 19:47:26 redis-server[3448]: *** FATAL CONFIG FILE ERROR (Redis 7.0.15) ***
Nov 18 19:47:26 redis-server[3448]: Can't open the log file: Permission denied
```
[19:28:55] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> hmmmokay
[19:29:09] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> thennn let's look at uuuh `ls -l /var/log | grep redis` ?
[19:32:01] <xabi> Just so you know, I tried installing Funkwhale again and it complained about redis, but it did install this time: https://paste.yunohost.org/raw/ayohanogeq
And I am now trying Grist, which is giving me warnings (`Could not connect to Redis at 127.0.0.1:6379: Connection refused`)
I'll try `ls -l /var/log | grep redis` as soon as it finishes
[19:37:21] <xabi> This is Grist: https://paste.yunohost.org/raw/oxopebigip (it was installed)
`ls -l /var/log | grep redis` -> `drwxr-s--- 2 redis adm 4096 Oct 26 23:41 redis`
[19:41:37] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> and what about `ls -l /var/log/redis` ?
[20:10:44] <xabi> > <@Alekswag:matrix.org> and what about `ls -l /var/log/redis` ?

```
total 4
-rw-rw---- 1 mysql adm 1532 Nov 17 00:00 redis-server.log
```
[20:12:59] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> lel
[20:13:00] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> yeah so for some reason it's owned by ... mysql
[20:13:16] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> i suppose you can try `chown -R redis /var/log/redis`
[20:13:57] <xabi> `-rw-rw---- 1 redis adm 1532 Nov 17 00:00 redis-server.log`
[20:14:56] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> yup, things should be fixed now
[20:14:56] <xabi> I'll try Mastodon now
[21:37:43] <xabi> Mastodon failed because of this: https://paste.yunohost.org/raw/qinanijuti
[21:38:57] <xabi> Now, I'm wondering: shall I reinstall the whole os to see if redis is properly install? Is this something that YunoHost installs or should it come by default on Debian? Could it be that I'm using a community version Debian?
[21:54:12] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> Debian is a community project... I dont know what you meab
[21:54:24] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> But yes redis comes from Debian
[21:54:59] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> OpenTimeout: Failed to open TCP connection to rubygems.org:443 (https://rubygems.org/specs.4.8.gz
[21:55:11] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> For some reason you server has network issue...
[21:55:25] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> Or less likely rubygems.org is down
[22:02:21] <xabi> > <@Alekswag:matrix.org> Debian is a community project... I dont know what you meab

Armbian comes in three flavours: platinum support, standard support or [community support](https://www.armbian.com/orange-pi-zero-3/)
[22:12:15] <xabi> This is due to having another server in the network, the main one. or that's what I think at least
[22:14:07] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> having another server in the network should have nothing to do with the ability for another machine on that network to download something from the internet
[22:15:13] <xabi> Idk, I'll have to look into it when I get more time
[22:15:29] <xabi> I haven't been able to visit YunoHost's main page, btw. I get 500 Internal Server Error. (both landline and 4G)
[22:16:00] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> it got fixed earlier in the day, LGTM right now
[22:16:38] <xabi> I need to go to sleep. Thank you for your help once again
bonne nuit
