<Hook> But if that’s not an issue, that would make my life easier. I’d just rather avoid doing a dist-upgrade on the dying SSD.
[00:26:52]
[00:55:17]
<Hook> Ah, poop. The installer for 12 still has the same graphical glitch that makes it unlegible on my screen.
[00:55:42]
<Hook> I remember there was a simple solution, but can’t remember what it was.
[00:56:04]
<Hook> Probably something with vga and grub
[01:04:37]
<Hook> Probably this, but I’m too tired to do it and not mess up partitioning later on:
https://forums.debian.net/viewtopic.php?t=156491
[01:06:44]
<Hook> Would be cool to add that to the install documentation. Happy to do that myself later on, if that’s fine.

<IoMe> Good morning (for me)
[07:21:49]
<IoMe> This morning I upgraded yunohost binary andduring the process to regenrate configuration it gave me two warning about a manual modify for /etc/systemd/system/ntp.service.d/ynh-override.conf' and '/etc/apt/sources.list.d/extra_php_version.list'. Really I don't remember I modified these files: what I could do toinvestigate this warning?

i would start by looking at what's in these files and when they were last modified/created

<yvanq> Any suggestion to solve this upgrade problem on one of my 3 spip upgrade witch stills "sticked" in 4.2.16 (in spip private) but mentionned 4.3.3 in web admin yunohost, tried
`yunohost app upgrade spip__3 --force --debug` without effect

<Hook> How do I bring up the ethernet connection during the (expert) install?
[10:49:04]
<Hook> The graphical side only asks me for the WiFi, but the cable is connected and it works when booting into YNH on the other disk.
[10:51:27]
<Hook> There’s neither ifconfig nor dhclient to be found.

ls -l /etc/systemd/system/ntp.service.d/ynh-override.conf
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 75 May 26 2024 /etc/systemd/system/ntp.service.d/ynh-override.conf
cat /etc/systemd/system/ntp.service.d/ynh-override.conf

ConditionCapability=CAP_SYS_TIME

This for ntp.service.d file

<IoMe> > How do I bring up the ethernet connection during the (expert) install?
Pure debian or ynh install?
[11:25:38]
<Hook> > <IoMe> > How do I bring up the ethernet connection during the (expert) install?

ynh 12

I think the insall image for ynh is not correct, I would try (and I used this) to install first debian and the ynh on it
[11:27:19]
<Hook> Is at least ynh 11 image correct?
[11:28:02]
<IoMe> > Is at least ynh 11 image correct?
I don't know because I never used it!
[11:28:15]
<Hook> Ah, fun.
[11:28:35]
<Hook> OK, so next weekend’s project. I need to work and this will take way too long to start again.
[11:28:53]
<Hook> Thanks, IoMe
[11:31:06]
<IoMe> > Thanks, IoMe
You're welcome

*Hook /me crosses his fingers the SSD survives another week
[13:21:49]
<Hook> At least I have backups from yesterday on a separate HDD
[16:05:34]
<IoMe> > /me /me crosses his fingers the SSD survives another week
Good luck!
