[02:58:10] <lohangX> Hello, I am now planning to upgrade one of my yunohost servers from 11 to 12. I heavily depend on the XMPP server that runs on this VPS. Can someone give me some pointers on the things I should be doing in order to keep my XMPP accounts functional after migration? Is there any mechanism (or a script) that facilitates automatic migration from the inbuilt Metronome to Prosody? Will I have to start over from scratch? What are the things I should be aware of? Is there any documentation on what to do in order to enable Prosody while keeping my present MUCs and contacts?

Yunohost 11 is my first experience in running an XMPP server so I am not at all familiar with prosody. But I am willing to learn if I have to :)
[03:02:23] <lohangX> If Metronome remains functional on yunohost 12 I'd rather continue to use it as it simplifies life for the time being.
[03:12:12] <lohangX> I see this answers my question. Metronome will remain functional, so I should be fine https://forum.yunohost.org/t/prosody-xmpp-server-for-yunohost-12/29128/9
[08:09:33] <lohangX> "- Packages metronome (xmpp server) and rspamd (mail antispam) are now independent applications available in the catalog. Make sure to explicitly install these applications after the migration if you care about those!"
Does this also mean that I will lose my roster after upgrading from 11 to 12?
[12:14:30] <James Richardson (tokenwizard)> This issue was centered around the daemon not running and they user couldn't log in at all. My daemon is running and I was able to create a log in a new, non-admin user. So Unfortunately, I don't think that is it. I'm going to spend a little time today cleaning up my attempts and maybe do a reinstall and see if I missed something the last two times through.
[12:22:29] <sterno900> I just installed headscale, but writing headscale in command , it is not found.
[12:22:37] <sterno900> anyone know why ?
[12:27:35] <sterno900> the service status is showing Failed but when I manually start it says sucess! but shows failed again
[12:42:33] <James Richardson (tokenwizard)> Ok, I figured out a workaround... I edited the local.config.php file and set the admin_email value to the email of my non-admin user. I also added the admin_nickname parameter and set it to the nickname of my non-admin user. Restarted YH and not have the admin console with my user that I created after install.
[19:16:34] <Elizabeth -> Hello I'm having trouble installing an app on Yunohost, described in more detail [here](https://forum.yunohost.org/t/setting-up-cryptpad-how-i-got-it-installed/27775/4), I can provide more detailed logs if you ask for them.
