[11:00:17] <miro5001> I have phonetrack app installed on nextcloud. And used ulogger, owntracks and phonetrack on android to sync my position. The most reliable one was ulogger (I used the same settings on the 3 apps) although it had the lowest battery usage.
If you have any feedback using other apps, share it with us
[12:49:28] <jacob> My Nextcloud installation keeps giving me this error message: "The PHP memory limit is below the recommended value of 512 MB. Some features or apps - including the Updater - may not function properly." What can I do to raise the PHP memory limit?
[13:00:47] <@err404:matrix.numericore.com> jacobb: I have the same error message for long time (nextcloud), doing nothing more and no more issues

[13:05:11] <jacobb> Thanks. So far, I will just let it be
[13:07:47] <@err404:matrix.numericore.com> jacobb: but I don't have many "clients" using my nextcloud, only few smartphones and computer at the same time, so it is not an heavy load
[13:50:26] <jacobb> Me too.
[13:56:57] <cippr> jacob: Hello, if you want you can replace the php_admin_value[memory_limit] = 128M by 512M
You have to edit this file :
sudo nano /etc/php/8.3/fpm/pool.d/nextcloud.conf
Make change then Ctrl+O (O not zero) then Ctrl+X in order to save then quit.
After you have to restart fpm service :
sudo systemctl restart php8.3-fpm.service
[14:23:47] <jacobb> cippr: Thanks. That worked like a charm
[16:53:12] <thibault> mer saoule kb
[16:53:34] <thibault> oups pardon
[17:34:21] <jacobb> Hetzner Storage Box as external storage for Nextcloud:

I am trying to mount a storage box (online data drive) from hetzner to Nextcloud in order to use it for the main data storage. I.e. I want users data to be stored on the online data storage.

Within Nextcloud I have successfully added the external storage (via SFTP) and it seems to be solid.

BUT, I don't know how to mount it to the Nextcloud data folder. I can find manuals on how to mount external drives such as usb pens and ssd disks etc. But not an online drive. Any guidance on this?
