[14:30:05]
<gredin67> hello, trying to generate and transfer a backup archive from one backup server to a new server where to restore this archive
[14:30:25]
<gredin67> no matter what I try, I get `bash: borg: command not found`
[14:31:08]
<gredin67> I tried following https://github.com/YunoHost-Apps/borg_ynh/blob/master/doc/FULL_RESTORE.md without success
[14:31:20]
<anubis> is borg installed? 🤔️
[14:31:54]
<anubis> (debian package `borgbackup`)
[14:31:54]
<gredin67> well the yunohost app is
[14:32:17]
<gredin67> and backup are successfull
[14:32:29]
<Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> you probably need to source the venv with something like `cd /var/www/borg` and `source venv/bin/activate`
[14:33:22]
<Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> or tweak PATH as described in https://github.com/YunoHost-Apps/borg_ynh/blob/master/doc/ADMIN.md#manually-running-borg-commands :
```
app=borg
PATH="/var/www/$app/venv/bin/:$PATH"
```
[14:34:48]
<gredin67> that's what was missing in the FULL_RESTORE.md doc
[14:34:54]
<gredin67> thanks

[15:32:51]
<liberodark> Yep have fix this issue now need to fix other issues 😄
[15:35:23]
<liberodark> The context: I had a hard drive that was dying. A sad story. Luckily, I saved my server, if you like, but I lost all the users, etc.
So I had to redo everything manually to at least try to recover a working server.

[15:40:57]
<liberodark> Sorry, I don't have a specific solution to offer right now.
As I said, I do everything by hand, so it's more of a workaround; the big problem is fixing Yunohost.
[16:26:52]
<liberodark> My last log is : https://paste.yunohost.org/raw/reribekumi
After try to install yunohost again... ☹️ not sure that a good way.
[16:28:03]
<Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ no context, no full logs, and you're running 12.1
[16:36:21]
<liberodark> Im on ynh 12.1.5.1
[16:39:13]
<err404> liberodark: please give more log, because actualy we cannot help you with the summary you provided
[17:25:51]
<liberodark> Sorry for my lack of response.
But overall, I've fixed almost everything.
1. I created the missing users.
2. I fixed the 20 crashed services one by one.
3. For LDAP and Yunohost:
I first tried several fixes, then installed over my existing one.
I restored only the slapd part.
I then ran another pass to fix several applications.
And now I have something working.
Well, it's not perfect, but I've regained all my access and fixed a good portion of my problems.
After that, I don't know if there wasn't another route other than the one I used.
We'll see over time.
[17:27:00]
<liberodark> Sorry for the inconvenience, it's been a while since I've dived into ynh.
