[09:14:48] <rainer.szs> So salamandar suggested me to activate DMZ for the local ip of the host machine, but that didn't work, I think I'm stuck
[09:17:14] <rainer.szs> I have a static ip address
[09:34:54] <wazdra> Salut !
[09:38:37] <rainer.szs> Sorry, what I mean to do is to resolve the error in the log that doesn't allow me to access to the server even if it's connected to internet. Accessing to the server with any device and anywhere (even if right now it's just another computer with yunohost installed) is the end goal. Now, the issue is that I forwarded all the ports written in the guide, both from my router and with iptables, but when I run the diagnosis in yunohost web interface, they still result as not opened, and thus cannot grant access to other devices outside my local network.

Edit: for a test, I disabled ufw on my client (the pc i'm currently writing from, with ubuntu desktop) and checked which ports where enabled on an external site, they STILL result closed, it seems like a router issue that idk how to resolve
[10:36:16] <Chatpitaine Caverne> rainer.szs: Hello,
I can't help a lot, but I imagine you checked pages on common port forwarding issues resolution like this one for exemple : https://tech-now.io/en/it-support-issues/network/how-to-fix-port-forwarding-issues-step-by-step-guide-to-configuring-ports-correctly
Mainly, does your ISP allow concerned ports, do you have UPnp active on your network, an other router interferring with double NAT, ...
[10:41:21] <rainer.szs> I allowed every port from the tutorial but not port 22, since it's reserved for the system. I have upnp active (for example it works with syncthing and torrent). There aren't any other routers interferring
[10:43:08] <rainer.szs> I'm reading the guide from the link you just sent, I still haven't tried to disable upnp or firewall (apart from ufw) to test the port forwarding
[10:43:53] <Chatpitaine Caverne> I'd give a try to Upnp disable, test and see what happen
[10:49:05] <rainer.szs> I disabled upnp, boot the computer, but unfortunately the diagnosis still says "port is not reachable from outside"
[10:51:00] <Chatpitaine Caverne> rainer.szs: And restarted the ISP router ?
[10:51:54] <rainer.szs> No, sorry, now i'll restart it
[10:59:35] <rainer.szs> I restarted the router, the ports are still closed
[11:27:46] <Salamandar> What's the brand of the router (or the isp name) ?
[11:43:01] <rainer.szs> The router model is zyxel vmg8924-b10d, and the isp is Tiscali
[11:49:47] <Salamandar> https://www.reddit.com/r/centurylink/s/AzQr0yjS7s
[11:49:49] <Salamandar> Wtf ?
[11:52:52] <rainer.szs> what.
[11:53:13] <rainer.szs> Wait let me search about zyxel and port forwarding problems
[12:57:01] <rainer.szs> Wait, yunohost has an actual tool for firewall and ports I didn't know about. I can try to use that (although it's weird that it didn't work directly from the router)
[13:13:45] <rainer.szs> I'm afraid it doesn't work as intended or it's blocking some ports without my knowledge
[13:21:49] <Chatpitaine Caverne> If confirmed your ISP's router doesn't work properly, then you could have to buy a small openwrt router and pass in bridge mode or (and first maybe) ask your ISP support team another model of router.
[16:31:01] <FbIN> I installed cryptpad on my server, and when I try to go to the landing page, yunohost automatically redirects to cryptpad.domain.tld/yunohost/sso/. I tried clearing data, cookies, history, private window as well, but it always redirects to /yunohost/sso/ page
[16:31:08] <FbIN> how do I get this sorted please?
[16:44:48] <Chatpitaine Caverne> FbIN: I don't use cryptpad, but maybe : https://github.com/YunoHost-Apps/cryptpad_ynh/blob/master/doc/POST_INSTALL.md
[17:20:55] <FbIN> > FbIN: I don't use cryptpad, but maybe : https://github.com/YunoHost-Apps/cryptpad_ynh/blob/master/doc/POST_INSTALL.md
Already done that. not exactly sure where the redirect setup us (example .htaccess), so that I can recheck and correct it.
[18:21:18] <otm33> rainer.szs: Does your ISP (Tiscali?) use CGNAT ?
[18:32:37] <FbIN> > FbIN: I don't use cryptpad, but maybe : https://github.com/YunoHost-Apps/cryptpad_ynh/blob/master/doc/POST_INSTALL.md
Got it working. Had to make it default in domains.
[23:00:04] <geoma https://eticadigital.cl> I just checked my yunohost and peertube app suddenly disappeared. Is this a known problem?
[23:00:13] <geoma https://eticadigital.cl> 😬
[23:10:02] <geoma https://eticadigital.cl> could it be that the update script removed the app?
[23:11:27] <Chatpitaine Caverne> It could be an update fail, followed by a fail restore. You can check your Yunohost Logs to verify this possibility.
[23:14:40] <geoma https://eticadigital.cl> I have the following logs:

```
'var/log/yunohost/operations/20251225-235126-app_upgrade-peertube.log'
[23:17:13] <geoma https://eticadigital.cl> I'm sorry... is it ok to post the log here?
[23:17:45] <Chatpitaine Caverne> Here is a forum post about this particular peertube upgrade issues. The last comment gives a solution.
https://github.com/YunoHost-Apps/peertube_ynh/issues/512
But to be sure, you can check the logs inside admin GUI or the two peertube logs in this list via Linux commands.
[23:17:50] <geoma https://eticadigital.cl> thanks!!
