[02:42:17] <FbIN (VB)> Hey. The Technitium DNS upgrade is pending for a week or so. How does the bot raised PRs work?
[05:11:02] <captainhonora> I have a physical old laptop running as a yunohost server for 3 years now, and wondering how easy is the process of switching to a new computer to host it on, without changing any of the settings.

Is it as easy as installing yunohost on the new machine and restoring a backup of the previous server?
[05:11:39] <captainhonora> Oh, and using the ynh.fr free domain, if that matters.
[05:57:23] <tituspijean> captainhonora: you will also need to change the port redirections on your router to point to your new computer. Make sure the Diagnosis is alright on the new system before dismantling the old one. :)
[09:03:05] <rainer.szs> I don't know, how can i check?
[10:55:37] <wazdra> Ok, so I'm trying to dig dipper into my issue with paperless (I can't even backup before doing a reinstall of the app, because the paperless backup script is also not working).

The main error line is
But psql -V says I'm running 18.1. Otoh, when I look at my installed versions of libpq5, I see that I have three of them: 18.1, 15.14 and 15.10. I don't understand why paperless only sees the old version though...

[11:22:24] <orhtej2> > <FbIN (VB)> Hey. The Technitium DNS upgrade is pending for a week or so. How does the bot raised PRs work?

Ideally someone does manual testing and, if satisfied, merges.

have you tried updating to autoupdate branch?
[11:23:12] <orhtej2> Ah it fails the CI

How do I do that?
[12:02:43] <otm33> Compare the WAN ipv4 shown in your router with ip shown by whatsmyip or other similar website
[12:19:50] <orhtej2> 14.3.0 was merged to `main`, should be available in an hour or so
[13:26:38] <rainer.szs> They are the same
[18:23:03] <Chatpitaine Caverne> Looks like it's moving on the ynh-peertube fix branch. Thank you ericgaspar :
https://github.com/YunoHost-Apps/peertube_ynh/compare/master...fix
[19:23:58] <otm33>
> Yes, it's the local ip of my server machine (another computer in the same network)

rainer.szs I don't understand this... The indirizzo IP del server in the screenshot is the YNH server local IP, right ?
[19:45:51] <creatures> hi
we locked ourselves out of our server
need to either allow admin from any ip
or
have the wifi hotspot activate on startup

anyone a clue of the command or where to find the neccessary documentstion?
[19:46:24] <creatures> also, matrix didnt let us access the group "no permission"
[19:54:17] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> can you elaborate what you mean by "locked out of our server" like ... why do you think you're locked out, are you meaning SSH or the webadmin, or both ? how comes you would get locked out of both ?
[20:06:29] <creatures> webadmin
not sure about ssh
[20:06:46] <creatures> been some time we last tried to get in
[20:08:15] <creatures> used to access via wifihotspot (bc the network setup at the location of hosting is messed up)
but turned off admin access from any ip and accidentally turned off the hotspot (now it wont turn on again)
[20:10:29] <creatures> okay, managed to find out how to disable the ip allowlist
[20:29:00] <creatures> how long inactivity until noho.st subdomains get revoked?
[20:31:55] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> none, they basically never get revoked unless they are explicitly deleted
[20:35:18] <creatures> huh okay
then maybe we have a different issue on the internet part
[20:36:31] <creatures> any clue how we can figure out the name of the setting for the on/off toggle of the hotspot application?
https://apps.yunohost.org/app/hotspot
[20:38:12] <creatures> cant pipe the settings list, as the keymap is something we dont know what it is and system says that there are no vc keymaps
[20:39:22] <creatures> *keyboard keymap
[20:45:09] <otm33> creatures: It could be https://github.com/YunoHost-Apps/hotspot_ynh/blob/f1a1d464b1141feababe826966559a9903dfcaf5/config_panel.toml#L27
[20:45:59] <creatures> so
yunohost settings set main.service.service_enabled
?
[20:46:26] <otm33> something like yunohost app setting hotspot service_enabled -v false
[20:47:26] <otm33> Look into /etc/yunohost/apps/hotspot/settings.yml
[20:48:04] <creatures> > something like yunohost app setting hotspot service_enabled -v false
oh, didnt know app settings can be accessed that way
that makes more sense
[20:51:16] <creatures> okay, that seems to exist and have changed
[21:03:05] <creatures> according to the settings, it should be on
also restarted
[21:10:05] <Gwên> Conduit has another critical vulnerability fixed https://conduit.rs/changelog/#v0-10-11-2025-12-30
[21:10:34] <creatures> is there any way to access webui via usb?
[21:29:25] <creatures> wlan is down
guess the service isnt starting correctly?
[21:42:01] <thatoo> A ce sujet, j'ai ouvert un fil de discussion sur le forum.
J'ai reçu une réponse intéressante mais comme la solution est assez radicale, j'aimerais bien savoir ce que d'autres en pense. <a data-mention-type="user" href="https://matrix.to/#/@chatpitaine:cirkau.art" contenteditable="false">Chatpitaine Caverne</a> <a data-mention-type="user" href="https://matrix.to/#/@Alekswag:matrix.org" contenteditable="false">Aleks (he/him/il/lui)</a> <a data-mention-type="user" href="https://matrix.to/#/@orhtej2:circledsquareroot.ovh" contenteditable="false">orhtej2</a>  ? https://forum.yunohost.org/t/extinction-vm-tres-longue/41204/7
[22:28:45] <otm33> yunohost app setting hotspot service_enabled -v 1 and systemctl restart ynh-hotspot
[22:30:29] <otm33> creatures https://github.com/YunoHost-Apps/hotspot_ynh/blob/f1a1d464b1141feababe826966559a9903dfcaf5/scripts/install#L6C1-L6C22
[22:58:28] <creatures> it's borked somehow
we've given up
no clue how we've had the technical knowhow + willpower in the past fur such endeavours, but definitively dont have it anymore
[23:17:36] <wazdra> I solved my problem by reinstalling psycopg-c from within paperless’s venv. I still do not know why it was linked to such an old library 🙃
