<m606> @_bifrost_FbIN=2fsupport=40conference.yunohost.org:aria-net.org ok so at least I seem to understand this right!
but then to rephrase my initial request: is there an app in YNH catalog that enables to copy calendars from various sources and make them downloadable by clients from the YNH server? In other words, to make your YNH server as a hub for your clients.
That is what happen for instance with RSS apps (FreshRSS, Miniflux, TTRSS, etc.) - you subscribe to feeds in it, and it regularly downloads all new articles on your YNH server. Then you can have any client fetching articles from your FreshRSS server (that way each client does not have to contact every single content producing server).

<quiwy> Hi,
I'm trying to install Wekan on an odroid HC4 (ARM-based board) using YunoHost, and I’m hitting an installation error related to MongoDB.
Here is the relevant error:
```
Installing Mongo 4.4 as 7.0 is not compatible with your cpu (see https://docs.mongodb.com/manual/administration/production-notes/#x86_64
...
E: Package 'mongodb-org' has no installation candidate
```
(Full log available here: [https://paste.yunohost.org/raw/ipedisupox](https://paste.yunohost.org/raw/ipedisupox))
From what I understand, the installer attempts to install MongoDB 4.4 from the official MongoDB repository, but these packages do not seem to be available for ARM architectures.
The `manifest.toml` of the app
[https://github.com/YunoHost-Apps/wekan_ynh/blob/master/manifest.toml#L21](https://github.com/YunoHost-Apps/wekan_ynh/blob/master/manifest.toml#L21)
indicates that the app should work on ARM, but after reading the MongoDB documentation (https://www.mongodb.com/docs/manual/administration/production-notes/#arm64 ), I’m not fully convinced this is actually supported.
So my questions are:
* Is it really possible to run Wekan on ARM hardware with YunoHost?
* If yes, what is the recommended approach (alternative MongoDB version, different packaging strategy, container-based install, etc.)?
Thanks in advance for your help.

<artlog> just collecting some infos : https://wiki.odroid.com/odroid-hc4/odroid-hc4 is Cortex A55 S905X3 that is ARMv8.2-A and https://www.mongodb.com/docs/manual/administration/production-notes/#arm64 claims MongoDB on arm64 requires the ARMv8.2-A or later microarchitecture. So it look like this is the smallest version that can get it working, but for what version of mongodb, that's unclear.
[14:08:06]
<artlog> knowing what/how it is packaged for debian is another question too.
[14:19:37]
<artlog> looks like all magic is in yunohost ynh_install_mongo
[14:33:00]
<schlunk (he/him)> That was indeed the problem - thank you!
[15:15:27]
<artlog> so there is a full story with this mongodb thingy, looks like http://repo.mongodb.org repository should be ubuntu and not debian that is not updated with mongo database server
[15:16:26]
<artlog> using 4.4 mongodb is really a bad option is it end of life since 2020 https://endoflife.date/mongodb
[15:17:10]
<artlog> btw i like https://endoflife.date site, very useful to not go to each and every site to find out versiosn
[15:19:11]
<FbIN> > btw i like https://endoflife.date site, very useful to not go to each and every site to find out versiosn
run by someone I know in my community :) I will pass this on to him. :)
[15:20:35]
<artlog> yeah, very useful
[15:21:24]
<FbIN> true. I use it when I need to tell others, how wrong their lifecycle dates are
[15:22:07]
<FbIN> BTW, in YNH mediawiki, how do I prettify the URLs. I tried the official methods as well, but the /index.php? sticks, no matter what.
[15:22:34]
<FbIN> I even set rewrites in .htaccess, but no change
[15:26:37]
<artlog> i dunno, got a dokuwiki ...
[15:32:42]
<artlog> so for bookworm 12 this is jammy and for trixie this is noble
[15:33:05]
<artlog> not tested though.
[15:35:19]
<FbIN> > i dunno, got a dokuwiki ...
with YNH, on dokuwiki, I was not able to allow users to register, or add myself
[15:35:24]
<FbIN> *add one myself
[15:38:14]
<artlog> ahem, i get it on yunhhost, but that's only a backup solution, i have a dedicated dokuwiki. so dokuwiki intgeration with users on yunhost ... that's ldap i guess.
[15:39:04]
<FbIN> Yes, for that I need to create all users there. Okay, let me see
[15:39:18]
<FbIN> they are not my family members, so I have to see they do not get any unwanted access as well
[15:42:05]
<artlog> ldap integration does work indeed with yunohost. i was using it and i checked it is still the case. It requires to add ACL in dokuwiki
[15:43:07]
<FbIN> > ldap integration does work indeed with yunohost. i was using it and i checked it is still the case. It requires to add ACL in dokuwiki
yup, and I could not get it to work otherwise. :(
[15:46:46]
<artlog> that's the way dokuwiki works, i have anohter one with a sso and need to set ACL too. since it can be done by group with @group it can be put in sync quite easily without having to change each and every user.
[15:50:45]
<FbIN> Okay, I found workaround for the restrictions, rather in the guides itself :)
[15:50:50]
<FbIN> for mediawiki
[15:50:59]
<FbIN> https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:Preventing_access#Restrict_viewing_of_all_pages
[16:09:42]
<FbIN> > that's the way dokuwiki works, i have anohter one with a sso and need to set ACL too. since it can be done by group with @group it can be put in sync quite easily without having to change each and every user.
agreed. :)
[16:50:47]
<quiwy> Ok so for my Wekan problem, looks like this https://github.com/YunoHost-Apps/wekan_ynh/issues/137
So I will create an issue if there is something that can be done to try installing if we already know it will not
[16:58:07]
<artlog> this might be a more specific issue since Raspberry Pi 4 is actuelly explicitly listed as not supported, due to fact it is ARMv8.0-A ( yes 8.0 and not 8.2 )
[16:58:30]
<artlog> (extract ) Note : MongoDB no longer supports single board hardware lacking the proper CPU architecture (Raspberry Pi 4). See Compatibility Changes in MongoDB 5.0 for more information.
[16:58:59]
<artlog> while yours supports ARMv8.2-A
[16:59:44]
<artlog> i wonder if even last mongodb 8 just does work using ubuntu source with jammy version on your system ...
[17:15:45]
<artlog> https://github.com/YunoHost-Apps/wekan_ynh/issues/330 seems wekan itself is stuck to an old version of mongodb. problems are stacking...
[19:37:07]
<quiwy> Well, I'll not try to find more info, it was just to evaluate the app. We will use planka or nextcloud desk I guess :)
[19:37:13]
<quiwy> thank's for your time
