[02:18:39] <k3nadianpup> Question what happens if and when all these OS keys expire and there no way to get new ones, does all human knowledge become inaccessible
[05:40:34] <@err404:matrix.numericore.com> k3nadianpup: OS keys?
[05:43:59] <k3nadianpup> The encryption keys that are built into the operating system, they expire, and software level looses the ability to use the hardware or physical level of the computer
[06:01:30] <FbIN> When I am trying to upgrade cryptpad, I get this error:

File or folder '/etc/nginx/conf.d/sandbox.cryptpad.domain.tld.conf' to be backed up does not exist
Failed to collect files to backed up for cryptpad

I did not make any changes, so not sure where this error is coming from. How can I solve it?
[06:27:46] <FbIN> I tried setting up a new instance to see what issues I am facing, it set up the instance, but when I did the step of force tls, it gave the same error:

Wrote file to /var/www/.well-known/acme-challenge-public/EeQM0Xerrh5xoJd1QZ6W_CFojIzFp8G4VB6yn2bGBW0, but couldn't download http://sandbox.temppad.domain.tld/.well-known/acme-challenge/EeQM0Xerrh5xoJd1QZ6W_CFojIzFp8G4VB6yn2bGBW0: Error:

Data: None
Response Code: None
Response:
Certificate renewing for temppad.domain.tld failed!
[06:53:08] <FbIN> I manually created the sandbox one now
[06:53:24] <FbIN> trying to upgrade now
[07:17:08] <FbIN> Okay done. It worked. both upgrade & recert worked fine now
[17:38:36] <DJ Chase (fae/faer)> howdy!

fresh install of YunoHost, and for some reason it's saying "invalid username or password". I know it's correct though because password manager

i will say that the username i made with the web ui was "u9000" but on the console it says "u9 login:". i have also tried logging in as "u9" but it still doesn't work
[17:38:38] <DJ Chase (fae/faer)> https://aria.im/_bifrost/v1/media/download/AVPBooDyIhfr4JlvyKSqlBiL7IDrWoO_62UdCOum1zwjq6OYYlgKjUiyL2g3dHSqnV0GWst8OfgyiAIhnW74T4JCecYmIJ2wAHJpb3QuZmlyZWNoaWNrZW4ubmV0L3VERmduU0djYlFRUkNUZ2JRVE1ueGpTeQ
[17:39:22] <DJ Chase (fae/faer)> i've checked the forums and tried using different browsers and disabling extensions, neither of which solve the issue
[17:43:32] <DJ Chase (fae/faer)> hmm also can't be reached now?

[18:34:50] <Linux in a Bit> As far as I can tell, it reads properly.
After a server restart (without restarting yunomdns first) it still says:
```
domains:
- yunohost.local
- grist.local
- neurodb.local
```
[18:36:35] <Linux in a Bit> I think it's interesting that when `yunomdns` starts on boot, `sudo systemctl status yunomdns` says `Tasks: 1` but after I run `sudo systemctl restart yunomdns` it says `Tasks: 2`
[18:43:08] <Linux in a Bit> It looks like some part of the program is failing to start on boot, but I can't figure out what.
[18:43:16] <Linux in a Bit> It looks like some part of the program is failing to start on boot, but I can't figure out what.
[18:53:12] <DJ Chase (fae/faer)> update it loads now but still says incorrect credentials
[18:54:08] <Linux in a Bit> I think the 'not loading' bit is fail2ban blocking your IP address for ~15 minutes after around 5 incorrect password attempts.
[18:54:30] <Linux in a Bit> The incorrect credentials thing is weird though...
[18:54:45] <Linux in a Bit> Running a server update magically fixed the issue...
Lovely? 🤷‍♂️
[18:55:30] <Linux in a Bit> Running a server update magically fixed the issue...
Lovely? 🤷‍♂️
[18:55:51] <Linux in a Bit> Oh, nope. The issue isn't fixed. It was DNS cache making me think it was 😭
[19:10:50] <DJ Chase (fae/faer)> reinstall maybe?
[19:13:53] <Linux in a Bit> Doesn't hurt to try since you haven't been able to set anything up yet.
[20:00:15] <Linux in a Bit> Is `yunomdns` supposed to have two Tasks running, or just one?
[20:13:48] <Jochen> I'm using yunohost 13.0.4 (BETA) and have an install error with wordpress (1. Install worked), if someone has an hint for me that would be really nice:
https://forum.yunohost.org/t/wordpress-install-fails-because-of-database-connection-error/41571
[20:43:39] <Linux in a Bit> I just tried making a forum post but can't put links in posts?
[20:43:51] <Linux in a Bit> So I guess this is just not getting fixed :/
[20:53:47] <Linux in a Bit> I made a forum post:
https://forum.yunohost.org/t/yunomdns-doesnt-apply-on-boot/41572
[20:54:26] <Linux in a Bit> Hopefully that will be more visible
