<orhtej2> Hi,
The shapeforms deliberated, sorry it took so long!
I have a couple of questions:
I've reviewed your contributions, historically LLMs were not good at following the [contributing guidelines](https://doc.yunohost.org/en/dev/packaging/), perhaps the situation changed recently. I trust you still review the generated code to make sure it's following [example\_enh](https://github.com/YunoHost/example_ynh) and [app helpers](https://doc.yunohost.org/en/dev/packaging/scripts/helpers_v2.1/)? This ensures a common framework for other contributors to understand the changes and not to reinvent the wheel :)
What's the package you want to propose to the catalog? There was a lot of back and forth regarding Docker and generally speaking [docker\_ynh](https://github.com/verzog/docker_ynh) is a neat idea that's perpendicular to the general YNH idea (to make it blatantly clear it's not going to be accepted in the catalog).

<Verzog McVerzog> Hello and thank you for following up. IMHO LLMS have improved but it's still garbage in and garbage out if you don't pay attention. I did consult the packaging rules and the other links above but when I initially started updating the moodle_ynh package I forked the wrong branch (ADHD/overtired mistake). The package I'm actually looking at contributing initially is a Moodle update to 5.1.5 that I have added a simple config panel and few updates to : https://github.com/verzog/moodle_ynh/tree/testing5.1.5 I'm a career Moodle administrator/developer and came to YunoHost years ago for my development sites (from softaculous/cpanel based hosting). I contribute to the Plugin repo in Moodle and wanted to start here a little bit. I have no emotional attachment to the Docker package - It's more been part of a LLM assisted self-training exercise on a tool I never got around to learning because YunoHost was way easier.
[21:10:12]
<Verzog McVerzog> The other package (still in progress) I was playing with and am interested in contributing in the future is https://github.com/verzog/myddlware_ynh - I wanted to use it for years with my Moodle sites because the commercial equivalents are brutally expensive but I'm still learning/testing/developing that one.

As for moodle - ynh already runs autoupdate every night, there's no need for gh workflow for that. Other than that the changes look OK for the most part

Consider adding a PR in yunohost/apps, we can take the invitation process from there. Sample submission: https://github.com/YunoHost/apps/pull/3542

`phpversion`, or actually in helpers 2.1 `php_version` is derived from declared phpx.y apt dependency

<miro5001> Hello [@tfcvern:matrix.org](https://matrix.to/#/@tfcvern:matrix.org) and welcome
I was working on the moodle package and decided to not push updates till yunohost trixie release because of the postgresql version requirement.
[@ewilly88:matrix.org](https://matrix.to/#/@ewilly88:matrix.org) already told me about how to handle this (like the immich package that adds the required postgresql version for bookworm), but to avoid over complicating the package and seeing no serious bugs upstream, I chose to let it wait.
Your strategy of handling postgresql and getting upstream version should be reworked (from my point of view)
The config panel is a great idea and your expertise as part of the dev team will be very helpful
[21:27:37]
<Verzog McVerzog> Cheers Miro - I'll take a look at your recommendation later today - I'm going to be pushing for Mooodle 5.2,x and 5.3 but I've already hit the postgresql 16 upgrade issue and broke my test trixie setup but have been too busy with life to keep at it.
[21:32:13]
<miro5001> I'll try to collaborate on the PR and I am also a bit busy these weeks (months 😳) so I fully understand
