<m606> only one Linux user account for the whole thing should do it. Not sure of what you call the NUT daemon ? the Web GUI is to be run a systemd service, but the upstream repo you provided seems to be only a webGUI

<DrPi> From what I've read, the NUT deamon runs with some user permissions. The NUT_WebGUI application needs to use the same user (or another user with same permission ?) to be able to set deamon configuration.
