I've commented lines in the install script and it works. Is someone could have a look if it's relevant.
Since v1.3.0 there is 2FA with in Galette and config.inc.php.dist it should make sense to add a variable "__SCRIPT_AUTH_TOKEN__" as in https://github.com/galette/galette/blob/develop/galette/config/config.inc.php.dist and maybe update scripts ... but I haven't skills for :-(

Building the latest releases requires more and more RAM and CPU (+/- 10-11 Gb). 1.77.2 passes the CI test on full moon nights, spinning around five times when jupiter transits in leo and harry meets sally... and fails the rest of the time. 2.1.2 fails (it succeeds on my own package\_checker but the build uses around of 90% of 16Gb RAM and 8 cpu) Moreover, it doesn't seem possible to upgrade from 1.61 to 2.1.2 (1.77.2 seems required as intermediate step).

Digging a bit, I see the app was set to a local build scenario due to the fact that at the time (~v.0.10.7) upstream wasn't providing prebuilt assets, but now there are some the package has indeed no specific reason to build locally the app, apart from the patch if LDAP support was to be kept. Other idea could be to make a PR for upstream from this patch (not sure whether legitimate or not?)?

I don't use it either. I've just spent some time to get it fixed (when I had free time 🕒).
It's still insane to require such a huge amount of ram to get assets to compile.
The app will stay broken till it passes ci tests. So if upstream proposes releases, it makes sense to use them and save cpu power (and electricity).
If this will break upgrades, then a preupgrade notice on how to export then reimport data (if doable) is necessary.
For a multi steps upgrade, NC package does it.
For ldap issue, reporting to upstream is the best option. I've already reported an issue with redis and got it fixed in next release.
