[10:16:11] <Yunohost Git/Infra notifications> [issues] @sy6sy2 closed [issue #2311](https://github.com/YunoHost/issues/issues/2311): Domain expiration date mismatch between diagnostic and domain page
[16:09:15] <Salamandar> > the yunohost tile thing is to disappear in bookworm anyway
[16:10:02] <Salamandar> Did you decide it wasn't worth the dev cost?
[16:10:02] <Salamandar> (tbh i never use it ><')
[16:19:50] <Yunohost Git/Infra notifications> Failed to run the source auto-update for : digiscreen, leed, yacy. Please run manually the `autoupdate_app_sources.py` script on these apps to debug what is happening! Debug log : http://paste.yunohost.org/raw/yuwinuwayo
[16:32:30] <ljf> I installed with my young students 10 yunohost in virt-manager. Today they have exposed their servers thanks to wireguard client, deploy let's encrypt and sent email to others... In the same time they had learning how configure mail through thunderbird...
[16:33:12] <ljf> Just to say thank you to all person that make it possible... They are 15 years old.
[16:34:47] <Émy - OniriCorpe> > <@ljf:sans-nuage.fr> Just to say thank you to all person that make it possible... They are 15 years old.

almost as old as yunohost
[16:55:55] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> > <@Salamandar:matrix.org> Did you decide it wasn't worth the dev cost?

it was always a mess both in terms of UX and in technical terms because you have to inject javascript in the HTML body to inject an iframe or overlay that also needs to import css and JS yet is only displayed if you click the button
[16:56:16] <Salamandar> yeah i suppose
[16:56:22] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> so far this leads to epic errors in the JS console and people think that's why their app doesnt work when it doesnt work for whatever reason
[16:56:32] <Salamandar> haha
[16:56:33] <Salamandar> crap
[16:56:39] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> imho if we want anything, it should be a top-bar menu, Framasoft-style where you can switch between apps
[16:56:50] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> but it's much more complex to implement (ljf did this for ARN)
[16:56:55] <Salamandar> > <@Alekswag:matrix.org> imho if we want anything, it should be a top-bar menu, Framasoft-style where you can switch between apps

top-bar is awful, so much lost space
[16:57:07] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> and at the end of the day not everybody wants this
[16:57:29] <Salamandar> > <@Alekswag:matrix.org> and at the end of the day not everybody wants this

Yes in the best of worlds you could enable/disable it per app…
[16:58:01] <Salamandar> and maybe you don't want visitors to know you use yunohost
[16:58:29] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> it's not displayed for visitors, only for logged-in folks (at least in the current state)
[16:58:45] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> and somehow you can customize the logo i think but requires a bit of tinkreing
[17:02:50] <Émy - OniriCorpe> > <@Alekswag:matrix.org> it was always a mess both in terms of UX and in technical terms because you have to inject javascript in the HTML body to inject an iframe or overlay that also needs to import css and JS yet is only displayed if you click the button

aaaah the weird shortcut/watermark? i disabled it as soon as I knew I could deactivate it
[17:05:09] <Salamandar> > <@Alekswag:matrix.org> it's not displayed for visitors, only for logged-in folks (at least in the current state)

Ah yeas forgot about that

[19:24:31] <tituspijean> > <@ljf:sans-nuage.fr> I installed with my young students 10 yunohost in virt-manager. Today they have exposed their servers thanks to wireguard client, deploy let's encrypt and sent email to others... In the same time they had learning how configure mail through thunderbird...

I'm amazed WireGuard Client worked out of the box, what did you have them do with it?
[21:08:13] <ljf> I have use wireguard configuration created with wireguard ui app, however, i have used a public ip range (so i have removed all the masquerade iptables rules in wireguard-ui > server configuration). And wireguard client work perfectly. Just create the interface name, click on save, add the vpn config file and click on save again...
