[07:15:58] <Yunohost Git/Infra notifications> [apps] orhtej2 [commented](https://github.com/YunoHost/apps/pull/3627#issuecomment-5906163539) on [issue #3627](https://github.com/YunoHost/apps/pull/3627) Add slskdN to the app catalog: @snapetech it would be great if you could transfer the repo over to YunoHost-Apps org and run first CI to gauge the app ...
[10:44:44] <m606> `languagetool_ynh` has switched upstream from providing versioned built releases (e.g. `LanguageTool-6.7.zip`) to a dated format (`LanguageTool-20260925-snapshot.zip`. What would be your favorite option to deal with the change?
1. use dated built release (https://internal1.languagetool.org/snapshots) but these snapshots are supposed to be updated daily and it seems only the 10 last ones remains online, i.e. not a stable URL.
2. use `LanguageTool-latest-snapshot.zip`. This one should be a stable URL, however a YNH admin will never know which version of the app it is installing.
3. host one of the dated build release on the YNH package repo, and update it manually from time to time
4. build the app on Github cloud and release it on the YNH package repo
5. build the app on the YNH server

I would do 3 if you or someone is actively using this app and is ready to update it manually from time to time
[11:15:57] <m606> or automated by a github action that would run every week/month? https://github.com/YunoHost-Apps/languagetool_ynh/pull/50#issuecomment-5909973310
I am not using the app 😅

> I am not using the app 😅

Or we could build it ourselves with an action that runs whenever a release is tagged upstream? Maybe upstream already has such an action?
[12:08:09] <m606> yes probably, why would favor rebuilding it rather than copying upstream built pacakge?
now the other issue is what to consider as upstream tag? There is no such thing anymore since 6.7 apparently. What seems to be left is:
- https://github.com/languagetool-org/languagetool/blob/master/languagetool-standalone/CHANGES.md (but here 6.9 is said not to be released, although the snapshots we can download are 6.9.
