[17:32:29] <Thomas> When trying to setup mails for FitTrackee (IPv4 for now, until the fix for IPv6), I’ve encountered the issue that my mails are not correctly sent (not at all (Gmail) or in spam folder (Outlook)). In postfix logs, there is `The sender must 550-5.7.26 authenticate with at least one of SPF or DKIM.`. When checking with some online tools, it’s confirmed that my `domain.nohost.me` has a DKIM and SPF signature, but not all of my `sub.domain.nohost.me`… Shouldn’t my subdomains have those keys? As it’s handled by Yunohost, I don’t think I can do something for setting DKIM and SPF keys on my subdomains?
[17:38:10] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> "sub-"-subdomains using nohost.me do not support DKIM, only the "main" subdomain
[17:38:24] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> that's related to how the autoconfiguration of nohost.me domain work
[17:39:24] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> nohost.me are only meant to be a convenient free option when starting up with self-hosting, but if you want to have some real, long-term server, you should have full ownership of your domain name, i.e. not a nohost.me
[17:56:33] <Thomas> Ooh okay thanks for the explanation!
