I think the patch in the baikal_ynh package came from this ancient PR on the upstream repo: https://github.com/sabre-io/Baikal/pull/195. I would be interested in when this worked for the last time. By now, there is a new open PR for LDAP authentication in Baikal: https://github.com/sabre-io/Baikal/pull/1124. When I find the time I will do some further experiments. So far, the main missing piece seems to be that a so-called principal (the owner of the calendar/address book) needs to be auto-created in Baikal's DB when a user authenticates for the first time. Otherwise, I see exceptions like the one pasted here: https://github.com/YunoHost-Apps/baikal_ynh/pull/86#issuecomment-1774181225
