1. `__DATA_DIR__` is `/home/yunohost.app/__APP__` not `/home/yunohost.apps/__APP__`
2. you have to change group to `www-data` for the whole of `/home/yunohost.app/__APP__`, not just to `/home/yunohost.apps/__APP__/subdirectory`
