[20:09:38] <tituspijean> who needs a budget when you have <del>slaves</del> volunteers
[20:15:49] <tituspijean> (sorry if I'm answering out of phase, I've restored my dendrite server and it seems I'm getting all the messages in the wrong order 😅)
[20:20:54] <eric_G> did i miss something about the strong interest in xmpp?
[20:31:47] <freddewitt> Hello world, i'am using Yunohost since 3 years, and now i would like to pack an app. Is there any tutorial vidéo ? The documentation seems to be very clear, but i'm not a professionnal, and i'm looking for a step by step tutorial. Thx
[20:36:09] <Yunohost Git/Infra notifications> Failed to run the source auto-update for : limesurvey, owntracks. Please run manually the `autoupdate_app_sources.py` script on these apps to debug what is happening! Debug log : http://paste.yunohost.org/raw/erawejiwog
[20:46:43] <lapineige> #yunohost-apps:matrix.org would have been the channel 😉
But nevermind 🙂

What app would you like to package ?
[20:47:17] <lapineige> There is no video tutorial. Only the documentation, the `example_ynh` app as a good basis, and yologen.lapineige.fr (beta).
[20:47:29] <lapineige> And obviously the support we can provide 🙂
[20:48:58] <Émy - OniriCorpe> and don't hesitate to inspect other app packages that use similar technologies

Oups sorry. I would like to pack the Studio server client ( https://wirebear.co.uk/software/studio-server-client ) . It allows to hosts a Da Vinci Resolve projects and librairies. Could be really usefull for my work
[20:55:38] <lapineige> Ok, that helps to see what's needed to package it 🙂
[20:55:48] <lapineige> Is that open source / FLOSS software ? 🤔
[20:56:16] <freddewitt> It seems not, i guess it will be a problem right ?
[20:56:53] <lapineige> As an official Yunohost package, yes.
[20:58:11] <lapineige> And also there is always the risk of running some proprietary code on your server without knowing what it actually does.
That said, it's still possible that you prepare a package to install it on your own server (it won't be in the app catalog, but the repository would still exists somewhere 🙂).
[21:00:44] <freddewitt> I totally agree and understand. I'm will send an mail to this service, maybe they could free up the code.
[21:00:47] <freddewitt> (who knows)
[21:02:46] <tituspijean> ooof and their installation script is very weird:
https://wirebear.co.uk/software/studio-server-client/install downloads the binary stored at https://blog.bobbyallen.me/studioserver\_1011 with no clear link between the company and the blogger
[21:03:22] <freddewitt> hmm.. weird in fact
[21:03:31] <freddewitt> i gonna test it on wm first
[21:04:24] <freddewitt> i found it on this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4tDkecNYL_Q
[21:07:39] <freddewitt> Thanks for your time and your kindness :)
[21:45:47] <Yunohost Git/Infra notifications> [issues] @manor-tile [commented](https://github.com/YunoHost/issues/issues/2047#issuecomment-1942674966) on [issue #2047](https://github.com/YunoHost/issues/issues/2047) On "yunohost log display", support names last and last-X to refer to last operations: Me and my classmate are going to work on this issue for a university course.
