[07:08:37] <feelniceinc[m]> Hi, I get every day the following error via email.
"Example.de/autoconfig/mail/config-v1.1.xml' has been manually modified and will not be updated"

Is this a cause for concern?
[07:13:35] <tituspijean> We got a visitor yesterday at the JDLL wondering about that too. A simple `yunohost tools regen-conf nginx -f` fixed the warning.
[07:30:06] <navan> https://forum.yunohost.org/t/solved-undelivered-mail-returned-to-sender-new-admin/22159
[07:30:18] <navan> Did this get fixed? I still have the same issue on two YunoHost servers
[07:31:00] <navan> Don't want to create a new thread on the forum if this has already been fixed
[07:32:09] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> eh yeah this should be fixed ... except maybe if you were in the infamous testing-that-got-released-mistakenly-as-stable and didnt run the fix mentioned in the 11.1 released note
[07:32:40] <navan> uh oh, i do not remember reading the release notes
[07:33:16] <navan> Should I follow the following section from 11.1?

> Legacy “admin” user
[07:33:45] <navan> nvm, it is

> Fixing buggy admin aliases for people that went through 11.1.1
[07:39:01] <navan> > Error: Could not remove e-mail alias 'root'
[07:39:02] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> 😬
[07:39:05] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> or you already ran the fix...
[07:39:05] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> maybe there's no root alias but the others are here
[07:39:05] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> or maybe just the first part idk
[07:41:53] <navan> ```
➜ ~ ssh -o PreferredAuthentications=password -o PubkeyAuthentication=no navan@domain.tld
Debian GNU/Linux 11
navan@domain.tld: Permission denied (publickey).
```
Even though I have password authentication set to Yes in the YunoHost Settings through the webmin :(((
[09:23:20] <ynhuser> hi all
[09:23:32] <ynhuser> I tried younohost yesterday on my VPS
[09:24:49] <ynhuser> then I deleted everything
[09:25:44] <ynhuser> I reinstalled everything now, but when I chose my domain Younohost tells me that it already exists
[09:27:04] <ynhuser> How can I solve this issue ?
[09:27:07] <ynhuser> thanks
[09:32:39] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> https://forum.yunohost.org/t/nohost-domain-recovery-suppression-de-domaine-en-nohost-me-noho-st-et-ynh-fr/442
[09:35:01] <ynhuser> tnx, but I have a real domain name, not a nohost name
[09:39:59] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> hmmmokay, so by "deleted everything", do you mean you `apt remove yunohost` ?
[09:41:33] <ynhuser> I mean deleted my OS
[09:41:44] <ynhuser> and reinstalled
[09:42:51] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> then can you share the exact error message sayin that if "already exists"
[09:42:58] <ynhuser> "The domain already exists"
[09:43:50] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> do you have the full log ...
[09:44:17] <ynhuser> where can I find the log?
[09:45:44] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> i dont know, i'm lost regarding where / when exactly you see this ... My guess is that you tried to postinstall once (*after reinstalling*), somehow it fails, and you're re-trying to run the postinstall but the system is in some half-configured state
[09:48:10] <ynhuser> Aleks (he/him/il/lui) exactly
[09:48:26] <c014> Anyone else having problem with the standalone bitwarden app and the vaultwarden in yunohost? I can login through the web but not in the app which makes me wonder if it is some kind of problem with different versions
[09:48:42] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> do you know why it crashed in the first place ?
[09:50:19] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> i'm thinking maybe you can reset the LDAP database which is half-configured with `bash /usr/share/yunohost/hooks/conf_regen/06-slapd init` (through SSH, as root), but not 100% sure
[09:50:20] <ynhuser> after that, I deleted the OS on my VPS
[09:50:21] <ynhuser> Aleks (he/him/il/lui) I setup YNH the 1st time without problems
[09:51:29] <ynhuser> now I decided to use YNH and reinstalled the system without any problem
[09:51:32] <ynhuser> now I'm executing the post install
[09:51:32] <ynhuser> "Congratulations! YunoHost has been successfully installed."
[09:52:00] <ynhuser> but when I choose "I already have a domain name…"
[09:53:04] <ynhuser> and I write down my myowndomainname.com the system says "The domain already exists"
[10:38:44] <chinchi> i need help
[10:39:12] <chinchi> anyone here?
[10:39:41] <chinchi> !help
[10:40:45] <chinchi> 370 people sleeping :D
[10:50:05] <lautre> Don't ask to ask. Just ask.
[10:55:28] <eric_G> I can confirm that I am not sleeping anymore
[11:01:46] <lautre> chinchi, wake up!
[11:10:43] *tituspijean will implement a bot answering with a how_dare_you.gif to any `!help` 😛
[11:18:42] <Maranda> 🎃🎃🎃
[11:19:24] <lautre> chinchi need help, but we need his question
[12:27:37] <chinchi> hello
[12:37:43] <tituspijean> What can we do for you? :)
[12:46:32] <Liblx> Hi, I installed the virtualhost iso, installation worked but what are the user/password at the beginning? There wasn't a field to enter/change anything.
[13:19:30] <eric_G> > <@titus:pijean.ovh> What can we do for you? :)
nothing right now, after nap time maybe 😬
[13:41:41] <Liblx> Any experiences with the user/pwd at the beginning? I read through the manual twice but I cannot find anything.
[14:25:38] <tituspijean> Liblx: try root and yunohost as password
[14:26:59] <tituspijean> (Cf. https://yunohost.org/en/ssh#login-credentials )
[16:52:03] <carrabelloy> I have a question in the round. Since the program with my whole built system I have downloaded as a backup. Since I have Fail2Ban no longer get repaired. And now have everything set up again. To do this after finish just under 160 KB
[16:52:16] <carrabelloy> after reinstallation have uploaded to the archive tar.gz. How do I get it to propagate again. Sa. it is not yet visible via the admin panel via terminal in the archive as tar.gz what can I do. Can someone help me further
[16:54:51] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> did you move it to /home/yunohost.backup/archives ?
[16:55:21] <carrabelloy> yes
[16:55:51] <carrabelloy> 59754997760 Apr  2 05:11 20230331-134909.tar.gz
[16:55:52] <carrabelloy> root@Debian-bullseye-latest-amd64-base /home/yunohost.backup/archives #
[16:57:28] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> 59754997760 ... please don't tell me this is this size of the backup @_@
[17:00:12] <carrabelloy> 160 KG where I created it, he created it that way. Or what do you think
[17:00:44] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> 160 KG, yes, that's what I'm afraid 😬
[17:00:56] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> this sounds pretty heavy
[17:01:42] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> so anyway, your issue is that the backup list doesn't list that file ?
[17:02:57] <carrabelloy> also took over 8 hours until it was uploaded again at Hetzner. There are 20 domains where programs plus blogs have run. Very clean. Aim Love Yunohost
[17:03:45] <carrabelloy> yes aim Admin-panel
[17:04:27] <carrabelloy> aim see for mey terminel the archiv the tar.gz
[17:04:45] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> can you share the output of `yunohost backup list` ? Maybe there's some warning related to that file
[17:06:39] <carrabelloy> How do you mean that please in the admin panel is nothing to see.
[17:10:45] <carrabelloy> What I find curious is that it already recognizes some domains again. If I go to the in FireFox and yet see only yunohost I can not send an image here, otherwise I could gladly show that Alex
[17:21:22] <carrabelloy> Does anyone have any ideas what I can do?
[17:22:29] <xtiggerk> Hello ! i've just discovered Yunohost (and have absolutely no knowledge at all concerning devops and so on...) I was wondering if there is any guide any where to help me deploy my Strapi blog? :)
[17:22:33] <xtiggerk> Thanks for your help!
[17:24:58] <carrabelloy> This is not difficult the whole system built with love. Except the stupid Fail2Ban we attacked from the outside. However, my wordpress blogs just cream. Can only recommend it to you. xtiggerk
[17:29:08] <carrabelloy> I would love to show you how horny Yunohost purrs. Like my dog. But unfortunately my backup does not unpack in the archive. Maybe too big. It installs so awesome. And over the years since I've been with you, you've put so much love into it. Your blog will shine under yunohost. xtiggerk
[17:31:45] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> > <@xtiggerk:libera.chat> Hello ! i've just discovered Yunohost (and have absolutely no knowledge at all concerning devops and so on...) I was wondering if there is any guide any where to help me deploy my Strapi blog? :)
hmmm i don't think Strapi is supported
[17:32:33] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> (it's in the wishlist tho)
[17:34:37] <carrabelloy> alex do you think he'll be able to pick himself up again like a butterfly from the archives and reach 160 kg? Aleks (he/him/il/lui)
[17:36:56] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> i ... uh ... wat
[17:37:36] <carrabelloy> what do you mean if I reboot the server ?
[17:39:36] <xtiggerk> Yup just find out... huhu too bad :/
[17:44:35] <Christopher> > <@chatpitaine:cirkau.art> And since the possibility of compressed backup is opened in Yunohost, for long and big backups, I get a 504 also, but the backup continue and can finish normally usually.
I deleted the .tar files that did not have an accompanying .json file. I can now use the webadmin to see my backups. So I tried to create a new backup of Misskey, and it failed again. So now I need support on why Misskey will not properly back up. I did create an Issue on their github. I haven't received any response yet. https://github.com/YunoHost-Apps/misskey_ynh/issues/149 Here is the yunopaste log: https://paste.yunohost.org/raw/inizevegar
I don't know this app. But, at some point, when I do a backup for my peertube, sometime it was crashing like that if I didn't shut down the peertube service.
So now, I stop the service before backup, and like this I have a good full backup.
Maybe it's the same in your case.
I did try that a while back when I first had this issue, I'll stop the Misskey service and try the backup again. Do you think I would need to stop any other services? It does say someting about backing up PostgreSQL. Should I stop that service as well?
[17:53:23] <Chatpitaine Caverne> Maybe your Postgress database server is used by some other apps. I don't know your setup.
If the main service is stopped, it should not send request to the postgress database
[17:54:37] <carrabelloy> How did you manage to get your tar.gz working? Since my 160GK are still there in the archive and do not open and unpack themselves.
[17:54:57] <Guest22> hi all
[17:55:12] <Christopher> Ok, I'm ok with shutting whatever services down to back this up, It's no big deal in my situation. So, first, I'll just stop Misskey and try a backup, if it fails then I'll stop both services and try again.
[17:58:51] <Guest22> Yesterday I setup YNH on a VPS connecting it to my "domainname.com" and everything was working perfectly.
[17:58:55] <Guest22> Today I had to reinstall Debian on my VPS and I was trying to setup YNH again.
[17:58:56] <Guest22> When I create the "admin" user it says that it's already in use and that my "domainname.com" already exists.
[17:58:57] <Guest22> What should I do ? Thanks in advance
[18:04:41] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> Did you try `bash /usr/share/yunohost/hooks/conf_regen/06-slapd init` as recommended yesterday
[18:09:28] <miggk> What can I do to get help?
[18:09:28] <miggk> I've got a problem to upgrade Nextcloud and now I cannot reinstall nextcloud to my yunohost on Raspi.
[18:09:28] <miggk> Hi there, gute Abend,
[18:09:29] <miggk> Was kann ich tun, um Hilfe zu bekommen?
[18:09:29] <carrabelloy> Hello, does anyone have an idea that unpacks my archive ?
[18:09:29] <miggk> ---
[18:09:29] <miggk> Ich hatte ein Problem Nextcloud zu aktualisieren und jetzt kann ich es noch nicht einmal wieder installieren.
[18:09:30] <miggk> Gruß / BR
[18:09:31] <miggk> Micha
[18:22:57] <miggk> #yunohost:libera.chat
[18:23:06] <Guest22> @Aleks
[18:23:44] <Guest22> Aleks (he/him/il/lui) H,i I tried but nothing changed
[18:24:39] <Guest22> It seems like YMH memorised my data
[18:30:42] <carrabelloy> Aleks (he/him/il/lui) ich glaube, ich habe es geschafft. Denn es entpackt sich gerade fleißig. mkdir -p /home/yunohost.backup/extracted/
[18:30:44] <carrabelloy> tar -xvf /home/yunohost.backup/archives/20230331-134909.tar.gz -C /home/yunohost.backup/extracted/
[18:30:45] <carrabelloy> O:3
[18:46:18] <Guest22> .
[19:36:23] <carrabelloy> sage mal kommen die Domains auch wieder selbst nachdem update.
[23:30:50] <notfin> Hi,
I am got the following error when trying to do a backup in the web interface:
```
yunohost Error: "504" Gateway Timeout
Action: "POST" /yunohost/api/backups
```
The total backup size is around 79GB, and it failed once the tar file was at 60GB
Also the serve becomes unresponsive at the time it fails, and I have to power cycle to reboot it.
The only mention I have found on the forum of this issues is here: https://forum.yunohost.org/t/erreur-504-gateway-time-out-lors-de-sauvegardes-de-yunohost-derriere-un-reverse-proxy/19102
But I cannot make sense of it as I don't speak French and the translation of the page seems to be not quite accurate enough.
I tried a second time to backup and got the same error. However, after hard resetting the server it appears the backup completed succussfully.
Should I be worried about this error?
