<T> Hello everyone. I hope I can get an answer to this:
I've installed Yunohost in a VM and has the ip of 192.168.3.11. My host machine (Linux Mint) has an IP of 192.168.3.10 where I also share by Samba a folder. How can this folder be visible and accessible by Yunohost?
[10:43:03]
<tituspijean> T: if you follow any tutorial for Samba and use a mountpoint set up with the fstab file.
Yunohost does not really care where the data is actually stored. If you shared folder contains media, you can symlink it to a subdirectory of /home/yunohost.multimedia
[10:43:44]
<tituspijean> (For example)
[10:46:41]
<T> It does actually contain Media and good point on the symlinks. My shared folder needs username and password to be accessed so I guess either I change this to without one or just guess access. Will try also the fstab option. Thank you.
[10:49:59]
<tituspijean> Fstab mountpoints for samba can refer to a credentials file that contain username and password.
[10:49:59]
<T> I thought initially to add this external storage
[10:50:14]
<T> so i tried to follow the guide and when I lsblk , it was not found.

<nalla22> Est-ce qu'il existe également une interface web de gestion de serveur Matrix comme synapse-admins pour le serveur Conduit ?
[21:00:40]
<eric_G> nalla22: something like https://yaky.dev/apps/synapse-admin/
[21:01:57]
<nalla22> > <@ericg:matrix.org> nalla22: something like https://yaky.dev/apps/synapse-admin/
Synapse-admin fonctionne avec Conduit ?
[21:02:14]
<eric_G> maybe (not)
[21:03:46]
<nalla22> Is it for performance reasons that yunohost Matrix server has been switched from synapse to conduit?
[21:04:58]
<tituspijean> We did no such thing, our rooms are still hosted by matrix.org, whatever server they use. I simply upgraded the rooms so that they are compatible with Conduit.
[21:06:36]
<tituspijean> I'm unsure there is a dedicated admin interface for Conduit, but it does open a special #admins rooms when you create the server

Right, doesn't conduit have a GUI for server management like synapse?
[21:08:00]
<nalla22> > <@titus:pijean.ovh> I'm unsure there is a dedicated admin interface for Conduit, but it does open a special #admins rooms when you create the server
Okay, thanks for the information, but what's the real motivation for using conduit instead of synapse?
[21:09:47]
<tituspijean> It's supposedly lighter and faster [source needed]
[21:10:24]
<tituspijean> though still incomplete. I'll let you check out its repository for more information: https://gitlab.com/famedly/conduit
[21:21:07]
<nalla22> I've just read a few comparisons, so I'm going to stick with synapse!

<nalla22> > <@mike6545:matrix.org> For those who are waiting for the functionality allowing visitors to register from the yunohost portal. A development plan for this feature has just been officially published by the YunoHost Team : https://pad.pijean.ovh/code/#/2/code/view/UrtwBBC-onn17CYVbAVOZSWBLZsiElyeQx1ixBw+VP0/embed/present/
Where did you find this link?

I got it via email notification when tituspijean posted it on the official feature page

<mavric34> eric_G Thanks for adding Deluge after our discussion the other day, I found it by chance in the catalog!

<mavric34> Is there an rss feed or other way to be notified of new updates and additions to the yunohost catalog so you don't miss anything?
[22:03:35]
<Jeff> I really love yunohost <3 just wish there was a mozilla send that didn't take so many resources to install
