[07:25:14] <jorgeluis[m]> Hi all, anyone running the mautrix bridges on dendrite over here?
The ynh package for mautrix-whatsapp is only for synapse: https://github.com/YunoHost-Apps/mautrix_whatsapp_ynh/blob/master/README.md
Is there a way to install the bridges manually?
[13:07:38] <Kavelach> Hi, I have an issue while trying to install jellyfin https://paste.yunohost.org/raw/imokimeluc
[13:42:00] <Melchisedech[m]> Hi Kavelach your Yunohost installation doesn’t seem up to date. I would start by updating everything.
[13:42:24] <Melchisedech[m]> Even the Jellyfin version you’re trying to install is not the latest in Yunohost.
[13:46:35] <Kavelach> > <@melchisedech:matrix.org> Hi Kavelach your Yunohost installation doesn’t seem up to date. I would start by updating everything.

👍
[13:46:54] <Kavelach> You may be right, I didn't update this instance for a month
[13:47:31] <Melchisedech[m]> Yes, and AFAIK the ffmpeg problem has been resolved meanwhile.
[13:48:23] <Kavelach> okay
[13:50:04] <Melchisedech[m]> Rule of thumb (for any OS): update everything before installing new software
[13:55:09] <Kavelach> I updated YH, but it still failed: https://paste.yunohost.org/raw/erequnewiw
[13:55:35] <Alexander41> Hi! I successfully installed yunohost and the nextcloud app, and it works correctly. However nextcloud is always behing the user portal, how can I make it "public" so that share links wwould work?
[13:57:54] <Melchisedech[m]> Well… actually the bug hasn’t been solved: https://github.com/YunoHost-Apps/jellyfin_ynh/issues/117
[13:59:13] <Melchisedech[m]> I don’t know how, but it doesn’t seem to affect upgrades… my Jellyfin is up and working.
[14:00:17] <Melchisedech[m]> Alexander41: have you ticked the box saying the app should be public in the install config page?
[14:01:21] <Alexander41> mmmh I didn't notice it, I will check, if I didn't can I still make it public?
[14:01:29] <Melchisedech[m]> If not, I think you’re good for a uninstall/reinstall process.
[14:02:29] <Melchisedech[m]> Have you tried to access directly the Nextcloud page, for instance in Private mode or in another browser to be sure you’re not already logged in?
[14:02:44] <Melchisedech[m]> I think the box is ticked by default.
[14:04:14] <Alexander41> accessing directly in an anonymous tab brings me to tha portal. ACtually for me it's not a problem, but for the people (that are not registered) I share with....
[14:04:57] <Melchisedech[m]> It will also be a problem if you want to access your Nextcloud through the API, for syncing folders, calendars, etc.
[14:06:20] <Melchisedech[m]> I think you should reinstall now. I’ll be easier than if you have stuff to save / import.
[14:10:06] <Melchisedech[m]> Oh wait, you can also do that from the users page in the Yunohost admin web interface.
[14:29:47] <douwe[m]> hey, I have nextcloud working on my VPS already for some time. But nextcloud claims it can’t connect to the internet. While it clearly can, because I can access it and create files, create shares and other people can access those shares.

But one thing I can no longer do, is install new apps.
[14:30:04] <douwe[m]> I have an error that shows up in the settings pane of Netcloud in the ‘overview’ menu.

[14:30:26] <douwe[m]> ```

[14:31:24] <douwe[m]> I have YunoHost version: 11.0.9.7 (stable) and Nextcloud 22.2.10

Maybe a DNS resolution issue?
[14:36:51] <undefined[m]> Did you try a `dig nextcloud.com` on your VPS? Are there any dead services in yunohot admin panel?
[15:14:45] <Gen> Hi, I installed the matrix service, but when I try to access the control panel I get an error message saying that I am trying to use an outdated version of the panel. I tried to search for a solution online, but I couldn't find anything, would anyone be able to give me directions or help? thanks in advance
[15:46:26] <Aleks> Gen: the app code needs to be fixed ... if you have no reason to access the config panel then just ignore the issue ...
[16:08:47] <Gen> ok. thanks, i retry to control the installation because matrix are not reachable
[17:13:01] <tituspijean> Gen: you can ignore the issue for the time being. The app is plenty functional without the settings included in the config panel.
[17:20:11] <tituspijean> Gen: check Matrix's federation tester ;)
[17:20:30] <tituspijean> Or maybe the Matrix Synapse service logs
[17:22:33] <Gen> ok, thanks
[17:22:34] <Gen> I also installed element and tried to register a user, unfortunately being on hetzner I still have port 25 blocked and it doesn't send the confirmation email, I will look for another vps that doesn't have these limitations. Do you have any suggestions on this?
[17:23:29] <tituspijean> If you choose "login via CAS" in element, it should mot require an email
[17:23:55] <tituspijean> (With a YunoHost user)
[17:25:04] <Gen> ok
[17:28:37] <shahrul> hi. after change ssh port, i got this error. https://paste.yunohost.org/raw/ipecapejiv
[17:59:40] <douwe[m]> > <@undefined:pnyhf.eu> Did you try a `dig nextcloud.com` on your VPS? Are there any dead services in yunohot admin panel?

not yet. I get this when I do dig:

[18:00:13] <douwe[m]> there are no dead services in the YNH control panel
[18:54:50] <undefined[m]> > <@douwe:thorp.eu> there are no dead services in the YNH control panel

Maybe a borken proxy setting in config.php?
[18:54:51] <undefined[m]> > <@undefined:pnyhf.eu> Maybe a borken proxy setting in config.php?

Nextcloud config
[19:50:53] <douwe[m]> could be... but how do I check that and how do I know if a setting is broken or not?
[21:02:29] <Mario> I am getting an error on metronome:
[21:02:32] <Mario> raceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/moulinette/interfaces/api.py", line 494, in process
ret = self.actionsmap.process(arguments, timeout=30, route=_route)

[21:03:09] <Mario> Errore: "500" Internal Server Error

Azione: "GET" /yunohost/api/services/metronome/log?number=50&locale=it
[21:05:16] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> sounds like "just" an issue where the log is not properly encoded in utf8 and therefore can't read the log
[21:05:28] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> so it's an issue but supposedly not a dramatic one
[21:06:44] <Mario> yeah it's still working, but when I go on services-metronome I get that error, so I can't restart the service from there
[21:30:37] <smoothoperatorgr[m]> > <@Gen:libera.chat> I also installed element and tried to register a user, unfortunately being on hetzner I still have port 25 blocked and it doesn't send the confirmation email, I will look for another vps that doesn't have these limitations. rimuhosting works
[23:11:40] <Gen> Thanks Smooth
[23:55:03] <jesse4216> Hi all, wondering if anyone has had any trouble installing yunohost on a mac mini? I have a mac mini 2011, i7, and when I boot onto the yunohost USB, I get a blank black frozen screen. I have installed windows, and linux distros on this mac before, not sure why yunohost isn't working. Its a 64 bit computer, but I have tried both 64 and 32 "regular computer" iso's, latest version 11.0.9
