[02:08:19] <cina> hello
[06:50:04] <ynhuser4442> i revived an old snapshot on a vps to loook for some important data but the domain is expired. how do I access the user interface with IP only? edit windows hosts file?
[07:33:49] <ynhuser> Bonjour j'ai cette erreur lors de ma migration https://paste.yunohost.org/raw/ugimedeqef
[08:13:56] <ramfreeman> > <@ramfreeman:matrix.org> I will run an update and try again

I did all the updates, and uninstall stander note and install it all from the beginning, and now it works.
thank you for your support
[08:15:48] <Jairo Llopis> hello friends. I'm having a problem upgrading synapse. It seems to me like the upgrade makes the fail2ban service fail, and then when it's failed it makes the whole upgrade fail too. Here's the log: https://paste.yunohost.org/raw/hoyajehase could somebody help here please? Thanks!
[09:39:27] <marcoil> > <@jairo:recallstack.icu> hello friends. I'm having a problem upgrading synapse. Can you check that fail2ban is running? `yunohost service status fail2ban` or in Services in web admin
[09:40:12] <Jairo Llopis> > <@marcoil:matrix.org> Can you check that fail2ban is running? `yunohost service status fail2ban` or in Services in web admin

yes, it stopped, but I already restarted it
[09:40:58] <marcoil> Can you try the upgrade again with fail2ban running now? Because the log seems to say it fails when restarting fail2ban
[09:41:29] <Jairo Llopis> yes, however the problem is that it is the upgrade what breaks fail2ban
[09:41:35] <Jairo Llopis> these are the relevant fail2ban logs
[09:41:59] <Jairo Llopis> ```

Oct 26 08:03:57 systemd[1]: fail2ban.service: Unit cannot be reloaded because it is inactive.
[09:42:52] <Jairo Llopis> so the process is:
1. fail2ban working
2. upgrading synapse, fail2ban fails
3. after synapse upgrade finishes its rollback, fail2ban can be started again

That makes me think synapse is doing something that breaks fail2ban, which in turn breaks synapse upgrade
[09:43:12] <Jairo Llopis> I already repeated the process twice, and always happens the same

/ : 69 GO
/home : 48 GO

Hy,
subject: residual files

After reinstalling Nextcloud on ynh 11.0.10.1 (stable), I observe an important difference by using the command 'du -hs'.
/ : 69 GO
/home : 48 GO

My problem : these 21 GO generate an overconsumption of disk space. This seems to be due to the non deletion of files related to the first installation of Nextcloud.

What I would like to do:
"purge" if that is the appropriate term my ynh instance of "residual" files to free up that disk space. I don't know where to ask or how to do it... I hesitate to make a post on the forum...
What do you say?
[09:45:36] <marcoil> > <@jairo:recallstack.icu> so the process is:

Yeah, it seems it happened to other people as well: https://github.com/YunoHost-Apps/synapse_ynh/issues/329
[09:45:59] <Jairo Llopis> > <@marcoil:matrix.org> Yeah, it seems it happened to other people as well: https://github.com/YunoHost-Apps/synapse_ynh/issues/329

Thanks! I'll continue there then
[09:46:18] <marcoil> Good luck, sorry I can't be of more assistance!
[10:33:41] <f3n1x> thx / merci / thx !
[10:35:58] <Fritjof> Hello
Is the YNH upgrade safe to do on a VPS? Or should I wait?
[11:13:10] <tituspijean> Fritjof: from 4 to 11? Should be fine
[11:21:35] <ramfreeman> Is there a guide on how to customize Jitsi, for example changing the logo and the forward page after the meeting end?
[11:32:27] <Fritjof> > <@titus:pijean.ovh> Fritjof: from 4 to 11? Should be fine

Cheers. But I think I already did that upgrade some time ago. This one seems to be an error. in the web-admin-interface it says "pending migrations witing" and "A major yunohost upgrade is available", but when I go to make the actual migration, there is nothing there?
[13:14:48] <finch> hi
[14:15:58] <ponytails> > <@Alekswag:matrix.org> there are tools to analyze what takes space, such as `ncdu`

I used ncdu.

/usr occupies 5.7 GiB
/home 2.2 GiB
/opt 1.8 GiB

This is after I have removed all the installed apps.
[14:20:20] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
[14:47:56] <tituspijean> > <@fritjof:deepfunk.dk> Cheers. But I think I already did that upgrade some time ago. This one seems to be an error. in the web-admin-interface it says "pending migrations witing" and "A major yunohost upgrade is available", but when I go to make the actual migration, there is nothing there?

Ah that's a small bug we found. You need to manually restart the Yunohost API service, login again, and it should be gone :)
[15:18:32] <ponytails> Alright, I did a fresh install.
I have 15 GiB (84%) space left (out of 18 GiB). I hope, this time I don't mess things up. 👍️
[19:39:55] <rubensflinco> alguem sabe me ajudar nisso:

That's not a magic keyword, that's the name of the room. 🤨
[19:48:14] <tituspijean> > <@rubensflinco:libera.chat> You should create a YunoHost user first.

[23:28:51] <akitake> Hello, are there any known issues with the following apps? I've been having system-lockups where none of my domains are accessible, can't connect through SSH, etc.. : Seafile, Vaultwarden, My_WebApp
[23:28:56] <akitake> It's only been happening for a few days.
[23:29:49] <akitake> Even reset my whole VPS and did a fresh bullseye install, still the same issue.
[23:53:46] <narf> tituspijean: About putting the first user as admin, isn't there a risk in case someone who made the first account for another person who should not be admin?
[23:59:22] <ynhuser> Hi: I'm curious and maybe someone can help: why does my nextcloud update crash?
