[04:38:06] <Fritjof> my Synapse server is not allowing new users to register. Also I cannot login except for with CAS - are those two related?
I tried installing Synapse Admin but got this: https://paste.yunohost.org/raw/onabafiyad
[04:40:54] <utxbrian[m]> Hello! Has anyone here been flagged by Google Safe Browsing on their Yunohost instance and been able to get unflagged? I am unable to find any signs of the server being compromised, and this is the third time I've done a fresh install with the same problem.
[04:48:05] <Guillaume Bouzige> yes I did
[04:48:39] <Guillaume Bouzige> you have to find out why, clean it and send a request to google
[04:52:04] <utxbrian[m]> Thank you for your reply! Google says that the problem is with ssowat
[04:52:39] <utxbrian[m]> Virustotal identifies the problem as "too many redirects"
[04:54:55] <Guillaume Bouzige> do you have a special installation or standard yunohost ?
[04:55:43] <Guillaume Bouzige> if you think they are wrong, just tell them so. they might as well re check and un block you
[04:55:51] <utxbrian[m]> I followed the Wireguard VPS tutorial in the yunohost forum, but otherwise have a standard yunohost installation
[04:56:25] <utxbrian[m]> I have told them that they are wrong multiple times, but they re-flag me within minutes of being unblocked

Same here!
[05:07:37] <tituspijean> utxbrian[m]: Fritjof There's an extensive discussion about it on the forum. No resolution so far for the ones that keep getting flagged. :/

OK, cheers :)
Will just keep my fingers crossed then ;)

That's unfortunate to hear, but I appreciate the heads-up!
[06:45:28] <robin59> Hey, I can't setup a working wireguard server. I tried on several domains but it seems to miss some ipv6: Logs: https://paste.yunohost.org/ohefuwurim
[06:53:06] <c014> is there anyone selfhosting bitwarden on yuno?
[06:54:52] <c014> ah vaultwarden is the same as bitwarden
[07:01:01] <robin59> c014 I do
[08:02:56] <ynhuser> Hi there, I have a redirection to /log on my URL: https://artistshouse.org.il/
[08:02:57] <ynhuser> and I can't get rid of it. any help will be much appreciated
[10:01:27] <ynhuser> hi
[10:02:12] <ynhuser> anyone here?
[10:02:24] <ynhuser> #yunohost:libera.chat
[10:19:44] <isAAAc> ynhuser ?
[12:13:42] <lambdapeer> Hi, I recently have the problem that one service (rocketchat) crashes every other day. when I restart it manually, the problem is "solved".

I now was wondering if there is a simple way to restart the service automatically on failure?
[12:19:07] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> the issue is more than the service shouldnt spontaneously crash ...
[12:19:18] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> Do you have more info on why it crashes etc...
[12:21:28] <lambdapeer> the logs of the last crash weren't very helpful, I remember the others to have somewhere that the JavaScript heap went out of memory, so I just guessed it's a spontaneous problem of memory, and a workaround to "solve" it is by restarting the process
[12:29:33] <yolateng0[m]> Hello, do you have any emails from Root for Dyndns problems despite a working URL and site? Thx
[12:30:42] <yolateng0[m]> * Hello, do you have any emails from Root for Dyndns problems despite a working URL and site? Thx

[13:59:12] <JorgeLuis> Hi, have someone tried to migrate from pleroma to akkoma on ynh?
[17:19:46] <yolateng0[m]> 0
[18:17:18] <tituspijean> JorgeLuis: I don't think Akkoma has been packaged for Ynh
[18:19:11] <JorgeLuis> tituspijean: No, not yet. Just asking if someone tried manually
[18:20:04] <JorgeLuis> A migration within the app would be more convenient than replacing the app in the future, I guess
[18:20:52] <tituspijean> > <@ynhuser:libera.chat> #yunohost:libera.chat

I can't believe the "Use #yunohost:libera.chat " description that seems to still be around is confusing so many people 😅
[18:22:00] <tituspijean> > <JorgeLuis> A migration within the app would be more convenient than replacing the app in the future, I guess

I don't know either of them, but if it's documented somewhere I guess it can be integrated in ynh :)
[18:58:56] <craigvb[m]> ugh.... Is there anything I need to do to a yunohost server when the static ip changes to a new one? It seems to be telling me DNS is mis-configured because they point to the new IP number, not the old one (had to change vpn providers)
[19:02:40] <tituspijean> Are you using your own domain, or one provided by YunoHost?
[19:08:09] <craigvb[m]> own domain
[19:17:15] <craigvb[m]> it really hasn't liked the ip changing, I'm guessing I need to do something or a complete re-install
[23:07:45] <craigvb[m]> ok, fresh install... everything works except for DNS from the internal diagnostics (all domains are reachable).. is there a configuration file or something for yunohost where you can set the DNS server? I suspect it's using the local network IP number or 127.0.0.1 and hence not returning any results
[23:26:49] <craigvb[m]> ok, so my /etc/resolv.conf file has "nameserver 127.0.0.1" added to it, even if I change /etc/resolvconf/resolv.conf.d/head I can ping sites etc but Yunohost dns diagnostics are just coming up as if no records exist anywhere
[23:53:48] <graycot> > <@utxbrian[m]:libera.chat> Hello! Has anyone here been flagged by Google Safe Browsing on their Yunohost instance and been able to get unflagged? I am unable to find any signs of the server being compromised, and this is the third time I've done a fresh install with the same problem.

Yes, I have been flagged by Google Safe Browsing multiple times. You're server is likely not compromised, rather, google most likely crawled a login page for one of your services before you put an SSL cert on the domain / subdomain (at-least, that's my running theory for the false flags). Reinstalling your server will not fix the issue, Following Google's appeal process is the only solution.

Here's how to fix it. Note, it may take a few days, but I found that injecting a little bit of humor into my written appeal to Google has always resulted in the site being whitelisted faster. If you get rejected the first time you appeal, write another appeal with more humor and detailed context regarding your website. The easier you make it for the Google employee to realize that you are a legitimate human, the faster things will go.

Visit https://search.google.com/search-console. You will be required to verify your domain is yours by adding a unique snippet to your DNS config with your domain register. Once google re-crawls your page and finds the DNS key, you will have access to the search console. The search console will provide you a little bit of info about what it thinks is wrong with your site. It will likely say "Malware" or "Phishing" detected. Click "Request review" and write your appeal.

Response times for me have been between 2-5 days.
