<craigvb[m]> request entity to large (nginx)...can't seem to get around this one?
[02:17:16]
<craigvb[m]> was trying to fix the file upload size on a my_web_app... managed to change it, but it still seems to die if there's anything over 2MBytes (why don't they have these often used settings in the control panel to alter?)
[04:00:25]
<undefined[m]> > <@douwe:thorp.eu> could be... but how do I check that and how do I know if a setting is broken or not?
Just have a look at `/var/www/nextcloud/config/config.php`. If you find a `proxy` setting that might be the reason. If not I am out of ideas.

<Mario> > sounds like "just" an issue where the log is not properly encoded in utf8 and therefore can't read the log
now it does not give me that error anymore

<matt> Hi everyone
[15:10:25]
<matt> I have a question about webdav, seafile and the way seafile organize the files it sychronizes
[15:11:04]
<matt> I need a webdav server, for zotero, joplin, calibre and gantt project
[15:11:45]
<matt> When I asked what package in ynh would do the job, I've been advised to install seafile
[15:12:42]
<matt> however, as I discover the soft, it looks cool and dandy, but it seems that it organise the files in a database manner rather than a simple file tree manner.
[15:13:20]
<matt> But I need to have my files accessible via samba...
[15:13:32]
<matt> So it would not work
[15:14:13]
<matt> So, can you conform me the db organization of seafile?
[15:14:54]
<matt> What else would do the job? It looks like nextcloud uses webdav, and syncthing keeps the file organization accessible via SMB/NFS
[15:15:01]
<matt> Any comment is welcome
[17:32:37]
<tituspijean> matt: WebDAV + keeping the directory architecture + Samba-compatible ? Go Nextcloud + Samba. There are both apps for that in YunoHost.
You will need to manually setup Samba to create a share from the Nextcloud directory you want to share. Use the `forceuser` and group setting (I think it's called that) to maintain file permissions to nextcloud.

<matt> tituspijean: Thanks for the advice. I see that nextcloud would be an interesting option. However, considering the sole need of having a webdav server, building a dedicated instance just for this is heavy and would require additional administration. That is the main drawback that held me in this wonder.

<minimal_structure[m]> I run yunohost on a raspi in my closet. Incan finally reach the network outside of my house after opening the ports on my router, but the diagnosis still says they are closed. I also can"t use let's encrypt.
Feom the logs I see this what should I do?

<ynhuser> Hi! I tried to move to another server, but during the backup restoration process, a bunch of applications weren't restored. Here are the logs:
[21:16:35]
<ynhuser> https://paste.yunohost.org/raw/juxilazuze - nextcloud
[21:16:36]
<ynhuser> https://paste.yunohost.org/raw/ragutuxusu - synapse
[21:18:20]
<ynhuser> I skimmed the logs, but I don't see the reason why the restoration failed, and I was wondering if someone could lend me a hand
