[08:12:34] <lapineige> > There's been a suspiciously high number of authentication failures recently. You may want to make sure that fail2ban is running and is correctly configured, or use a custom port for SSH as explained in https://yunohost.org/security.

I've been receiving this for 5 days in the diagnosis. If I changed the ssh port and have a good password from ssh connection, do I have anything to do about it ?
[08:21:05] <lapineige> In *fail2ban* service logs, I see `fail2ban.transmitter [4341]: WARNING Command ['status', 'sshd-ddos'] has failed. Received UnknownJailException('sshd-ddos')`.
Any idea ?
[08:59:21] <lapineige> I see several IPs being banned every 10 minutes. Should I increase the banning time ? (and how ?)
[09:05:26] <Chatpitaine Caverne> > I see several IPs being banned every 10 minutes. Should I increase the banning time ? (and how ?)

It seems the bantime can be configured in `/etc/fail2ban/jail.conf` At the very beginning of the file, commented bantime = 3600
[09:06:56] <Chatpitaine Caverne> But if you expose your ssh port to Internet, maybe change it to any other free port than 22.
[09:24:10] <miro5001> > I see several IPs being banned every 10 minutes. Should I increase the banning time ? (and how ?)

I have been receiving this warning the days after installing the vps. So I changed the port and disabled password authentication.
[10:15:52] <lapineige> > <@chatpitaine:cirkau.art> But if you expose your ssh port to Internet, maybe change it to any other free port than 22.

😉

I did it in the `/etc/fail2ban/jail.d/yunohost-jails.conf` file.
[10:17:12] <lapineige> I don't know if that would prevent yunohost from managing these files ? 🤔
[11:29:51] <ChriChri[m]> Just looked around for a remote support solution. Jitsi Meet seems to have stopped support to remote control a computer. Stumbled over RustDesk and found it on the top of the yunohost wishlist. Is there anybody already working on this?
[12:01:17] <ChriChri[m]> eric_G - [Thanks!](https://github.com/YunoHost/apps/pull/1802)
[12:02:07] <eric_G> > <@chrichri:librem.one> eric_G - [Thanks!](https://github.com/YunoHost/apps/pull/1802)

you are welcome, but that was the easy part
[12:05:10] <ChriChri[m]> > <@ericg:matrix.org> you are welcome, but that was the easy part

I know. When I searched for a remot support app like teamviewer I remembered I at least wanted to connect yunohost and flohmarkt. I'll happily start contributing once I learned enough.
[18:18:59] <ChriChri> any suggestion on `rspamd_redis_init: cannot init redis backend for BAYES_`?
[19:59:23] <CyBerNetX> bonjour j ai un souci avec le depot packages.sury.org pour php8 pour nextloud cf https://paste.yunohost.org/raw/tilodapegu
