[00:20:31] <kiriko09> Hi there !
Someone told me I might find help here, so I'm trying, hoping I do (thanks for your time if you can help me).

In a nutshell:
* I recently bought a raspberry pi 4, installed Yunohost on it (first time trying self-hosting, no experience as admin, a bit lost...).
* The installation of Yunohost went well and all (except 2: IPv6 and reverse DNS) diagnostics are green.
* Then I installed an app called Kresus, the installation went well
* I did everything from the webadmin connecting to raspberry pi from my personal PC (Ubtuntu, Firefox)

But:
* When I try to open Kresus from the webadmin I get a timedout connection page
* I already reached out to the developers of Kresus, after a few tests they say that Kresus runs fine in the background and that the problem is probably elsewhere, they advised me to seek help here

Here is the Github page where I give more details (screenshots and CLI output) + the discussion with Kresus devs: https://github.com/YunoHost-Apps/kresus_ynh/issues/169#issuecomment-1780511473

Any chance someone has an idea what's going on ?
[00:23:34] <kiriko09> By the way: I'm not experienced as a server admin, so I have little legitimacy to appreciate the scope of Yunohost, but as an open-source enthusiast I also wanted to thank the community for that distro and all the work that I can guess went into this.
[00:33:37] <luke> Today, 5:59 AM:
> Try to post something in Pixelfed. And to access it from elsewhere, for instance by putting its URL in the search bar of another fediverse instance (Pixelfed or not).
> Then in the service tab of Yunohost webadmin, open php8.2, there you have the log

https://paste.yunohost.org/amejekazag

I was able to navigate to the post using moth.social too. But even though friended both ways it didn’t appear until pasting the link in search.

I've also just realised I can search for posts as you described how to, but only when public or unlisted. Which means my accounts to test following aren't actually following my pixelfed account. They say they are, but my pixelfed account show's it's unfollowed. No idea why this is happening
[03:08:06] <djx> I'm trying to get gitlab started on my instance, and it looks like it's fighting for port 9090 with Jitsi ,and port 8082 for sidekiq/prometheus. Is there a configuration somewhere I'm supposed to edit to deal with thes conflicting ports?

That's often an issue with Pixelfed :(
[06:25:00] <luke> > That's often an issue with Pixelfed :(
Damn it. I’ve tried for years to get Pixelfed right by various install methods always using new domains bloody fediverse and failing. You know I’m going to give up haha. Streams is working sweet. I just like Pixelfeds idea.
[08:43:47] <Tag> No, it should have been handled by YunoHost core. Can you share your logs ?

Which one is Streams?
[09:03:23] <jorgeluis> Someone should fork Akkoma or Mastodon and put images on above the text and voilà, you have an image sharing platform

Why not have a MR to add an option to change the layout (css?) that way? Every user could decide by theirself...
[12:57:18] <crashone> I have a bug with the time displayed in the Dolibarr application. I updated the time on my server with dpkg-reconfigure tzdata, but Dolibarr remains on the old timezone. I reported the bug but never got any response.

I don't know Dolibarr, but I'm quite sure it is not a problem with your Librem5 or the PureOS running on it. If you thing it is an issue specific to the phone - are you able to reproduce it on a computer running PureOS Byzantium or Debian Bullseye? If it's possible to reproduce you can be sure it's not a phone problem, but a problem between app and os with a strong tendency to the app side (where you could report the bug).

what are you talking about and what does this have to do with my phone?
[13:24:12] <ChriChri[m]> > <@crashone:matrix.org> what are you talking about and what does this have to do with my phone?

Short: your issue is most probably not an issue with the phone, but with the app.
[13:24:13] <ChriChri[m]> Ups, ended up in the wrong room :) thought you'd have a Librem5 ;-) ...

ok
[15:25:03] <Fritjof> To get VPN working on my server, do I need to get one of the compatible services listed here: https://yunohost.org/en/providers/vpn - and are they even accessible for people outside of francee?

That depends completely on your level of knowledge. If you need a simple solution you'd probably better stick with the documented vpns. Otherwise you can use whatever delivers the needed routing/nat.
[18:51:53] <toromtomtom> I tried to sign up on the forum, but it seems like the activation email is not sent. I've tried different email addresses, but I get no activation email.
[18:56:48] <Hiro (hnb)> Hi. Good to be here. I have exactly the same issue with toromtomtom . I really appreciate the help so I can log in.
