[07:34:22] <noccio> Good morning
[07:36:04] <noccio> I just created a PR because I have an italian translation for the file evaluate.md
[07:36:13] <noccio> Where could I send this file?
[07:40:03] <titus[m]> noccio: Hello, you need to fork the repository, create a new branch, apply your modifications to the file then open the PR and selecting your branch to be applied to the original repo master branch.

(Don't open a PR to ask a question as you did 😜)
[07:48:32] <noccio> tituspijean: ok, I will fork the repository
[07:48:46] <noccio> tituspijean: thanks
[08:13:27] <noccio> tituspijean: I send the file in my fork, or at least I hope to :)
[08:49:14] <tituspijean> noccio: yes good, all you had to do is open the PR. I've done that for you ;)
[11:02:03] <tripop> > <@titus:pijean.ovh> tripop: FYI https://github.com/YunoHost-Apps/wordpress_ynh/pull/190

Great ! Thks ! You need tester for this ?
[11:15:45] <Lightnin> Hello good people! My Pleroma instance 502s after Ynh 11 upgrade (and restore from Ynh 4 backup). It's my PhD design notebook, and I'm sure missing it. Logs and description are here - wondering if anyone has a minute to take a look? https://github.com/YunoHost-Apps/pleroma_ynh/issues/206
[11:18:39] <tituspijean> tripop: With pleasure! I tested it on my test server, but it would be great making sure it works on a production one
[11:40:00] <Ugurcan> Hey there, I can't install LXD. Here's the log: https://paste.yunohost.org/raw/calateroma
[11:40:15] <Ugurcan> Is this a common issue or just me?
[11:42:28] <tituspijean> Lightnin: try this https://github.com/YunoHost-Apps/pleroma_ynh/issues/206#issuecomment-1250251997
[11:42:32] <Ugurcan> I'm thinking this is the culprit:
[11:42:33] <Ugurcan> 2022-09-18 14:34:36,133: DEBUG - E: Packages need to be removed but remove is disabled.
[11:42:33] <Ugurcan> Never done any alterations to my Yunohost setup. Maybe it's disabled during another install?
[11:43:32] <tituspijean> Ugurcan: do you now if you need the busybox package?
[11:44:13] <Ugurcan> I'm not even sure what busybox is :D
[11:44:16] <Ugurcan> could any other app depend on it?
[11:44:28] <tituspijean> could be
[11:44:44] <tituspijean> can you try in the CLI `aptitude why busybox`
[11:45:10] <Ugurcan> sure
[11:46:25] <tituspijean> or if `aptitude` is not installed try `sudo apt-cache rdepends --installed busybox`
[11:47:24] <Ugurcan> i A initramfs-tools-core Recommends busybox (>= 1:1.22.0-17~) | busybox-static (>= 1:1.22.0-17~)
[11:47:24] <Ugurcan> i   initramfs-tools      Depends    initramfs-tools-core (= 0.140)
[11:48:33] <tituspijean> OK, it only recommends it. Let's try `sudo apt remove busybox`. BUT do not blindly accept other packages removal, post here the output ;)
[11:48:52] <Ugurcan> alright. as I see in the logs, LXC installer tries to install busybox-static anyway
[11:49:04] <Ugurcan> I'll backup first :D
[11:49:24] <tituspijean> yup, I guess it tries to remove it because it wants a different version installed
[11:56:47] <Ugurcan> that did the trick, thank you. should I report this in github repo?
[11:59:44] <Ugurcan> ah, I now see there's already an issue with same problem.
[12:14:02] <ynhuser> i was trying to install yunohost on an old laptop and did the install and tried to login over my web browser as in the wiki but i cant login either u i cant find the local ip or i cannot log in with it. im only prompted with a login page on the device itself but i dont know how or what to log in as.
[12:14:36] <ynhuser> im kinda stuck on what to do now
[12:15:31] <tituspijean> try `root` as user and `yunohost` as password for the device itself.
In your browser, does `https://yunohost.local` work?
[12:15:47] <ynhuser> no tit does not
[12:15:50] <ynhuser> ill try the login
[12:17:15] <ynhuser> the login worked
[12:17:52] <tituspijean> you can try doing the postinstall from the command line, or check you local ip address with `ip a`
[12:17:53] <ynhuser> should i continue with the cli install ?
[12:17:59] <ynhuser> okay
[12:22:52] <ynhuser> okay
[12:22:59] <ynhuser> i think i got it from here
[12:23:15] <ynhuser> sorry for being to stupid to read the manual
[12:23:45] <tituspijean> no worries, the yunohost.local thingy should have worked
[12:24:20] <tituspijean> btw can you share the output of `systemctl -xe --unit=yunomdns`, so that I can see what went wrong with it?
[12:25:20] <ynhuser> will do
[12:25:40] <ynhuser> if i typed something wrong in the post install how would i change that
[12:31:36] <tituspijean> depends on what...
[12:31:40] <ynhuser> Ungültige Operation -- x
[12:31:41] <ynhuser> was the output
[12:32:09] <tituspijean> what did you type?
[12:32:11] <ynhuser> invalid operation
[12:32:20] <ynhuser> systemctl -xe --unit=yunomdns
[12:32:50] <tituspijean> oh my bad. it's `journalctl`, not `systemctl`
[12:33:24] <tituspijean> but that's not the postinstall command, that's the one for me to understand why the yunohost.local address did not work
[12:34:50] <ynhuser> https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/971897883039256597/1021036350348210257/IMG_0061.jpg
[12:35:01] <ynhuser> does this work
[12:36:06] <ynhuser> the post install also said it couln't download update the packages
[12:36:19] <tituspijean> mmmh... try `systemctl restart yunomdns` and then try your browser again
[12:36:21] <ynhuser> and the ip a looks a bit weird
[12:36:26] <tituspijean> > <@ynhuser:libera.chat> the post install also said it couln't download update the packages

that's weird indeed
[12:36:29] <tituspijean> share the ip
[12:36:39] <tituspijean> looks like you have no actual network connection
[12:36:44] <tituspijean> it it wifi, or ethernet?
[12:37:36] <ynhuser> the installer asked for wifi
[12:37:47] <ynhuser> which confused me a bit because i have a lan cable in the port
[12:38:26] <tituspijean> it looks like it did not connect through lan. Share the ip please, and check that the computer is recognized in your router
[12:38:39] <ynhuser> https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/971897883039256597/1021037154715058226/8786174A-0515-4AED-BCA9-2969FE449C0F.jpg
[12:39:12] <tituspijean> indeed no connection
[12:39:45] <ynhuser> should i just try to install it again and disable wifi beforehand ?
[12:39:56] <tituspijean> try unplugging and plugging it again
[12:40:06] <ynhuser> i did that
[12:40:10] <ynhuser> didn't work
[12:40:41] <ynhuser> the lan cable worked before i installed yunohost
[12:42:43] <tituspijean> can you share the output of `sudo systemctl | grep dhc`
[12:44:16] <ynhuser> https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/971897883039256597/1021038860370714644/7BB10F7A-3777-4746-A2FE-9BCF243C3520.jpg
[12:47:04] <tituspijean> try `ifup enp0s25`
[12:47:11] <tituspijean> and `ip a` again
[12:48:03] <Jojo> okay
[12:48:11] <Jojo> i logged into element
[12:48:24] <Jojo> im the user with the problems
[12:48:53] <tituspijean> we're all users with problems here :p
[12:51:00] <Jojo> it says unknown interface enp0s25
[12:51:12] <Jojo> ip a still has the same output
[12:51:33] <Jojo> > <@titus:pijean.ovh> we're all users with problems here :p

i have been using linux for a year now and i get it
[12:52:01] <tituspijean> https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/971897883039256597/1021037154715058226/8786174A-0515-4AED-BCA9-2969FE449C0F.jpg
but I read that right, right? `enp0s25` ?
[12:52:06] <Jojo> yes
[12:52:13] <Jojo> ip a still lists it as well
[12:52:29] <tituspijean> oh.
[12:53:32] <tituspijean> what's the output of `cat /etc/network/interfaces`
[12:55:34] <Jojo> https://aria.im/_matrix/media/v1/download/matrix.org/xWjQtWuSDIkJWaMuMnnRMcIK
[12:56:28] <tituspijean> let's try `nano /etc/network/interfaces`
[12:56:50] <tituspijean> and add
```
allow-hotplug enp0s25
iface enp0s25 inet dhcp
```
at the end of the file
[12:57:04] <tituspijean> CTRL+O then CTRL+X to save and exit
[12:57:14] <tituspijean> then `systemctl restart networking`
[12:59:02] <Jojo> https://aria.im/_matrix/media/v1/download/matrix.org/VlHhlTSSiMHVKcunMmhjgFpV
[12:59:29] <tituspijean> `systemctl status networking`
[13:00:36] <Jojo> https://aria.im/_matrix/media/v1/download/matrix.org/IIHxwJsXQobpyBjnjiIOWVXd
[13:01:08] <tituspijean> cat /etc/network/interfaces
[13:01:28] <Jojo> did that after the nano
[13:01:40] <Jojo> was exactly what i edited
[13:01:57] <Jojo> wait nvm
[13:02:03] <Jojo> i made a typo
[13:02:28] <tituspijean> and I forgot to make you add `auto enp0s25` above the additions
[13:02:44] <Jojo> at the end ?
[13:03:00] <tituspijean> before the two lines you added
[13:03:35] <Jojo> ok changed it
[13:03:36] <Jojo> im guessing the previous commands
[13:03:56] <tituspijean> yes
[13:03:58] <tituspijean> `systemctl restart networking`
[13:04:02] <Jojo> okay
[13:04:07] <Jojo> no output
[13:04:49] <tituspijean> ip a
[13:05:37] <Jojo> https://aria.im/_matrix/media/v1/download/matrix.org/FozJhOMXiBVFmTSdyrwiLmcD
[13:05:55] <tituspijean> muuuuch better
[13:06:05] <tituspijean> now `systemctl restart yunomdns`
[13:06:16] <tituspijean> and you can try yunohost.local in your browser again
[13:07:43] <Jojo> yes it works
[13:08:02] <Jojo> what is the login
[13:08:14] <Jojo> root + the password i set ?
[13:11:25] <Jojo> thanks a lot
[13:12:28] <tituspijean> You're welcome, enjoy YunoHost
[13:12:40] <Jojo> i will thank you
[13:27:12] <Hans Kristiansen> Hi, Newly installed younohost server with Synapse here. But I can't log in on any of my matrix accounts in the clients. 😮

I asked about this a week ago. Then Coturn-synapse didn't work on Debian 11. But that have been fixed on the last update. So not sure why I can't log in.
[14:53:57] <hoks> Hello, coming Sunday, 25 sep, we have several lineups / presentations on our expo in Rotterdam. See: https://serendiep.nl/nl/expo_rotterdam2022/lineup.  One of the line-ups is about setting up your own server with Yunohost. People can come with their laptop for hands-on trying. Is their anybody who is interested to visit, or even help ?
[14:56:57] <Jojo> Hey i have a question. Why does Yunohost automatically host everthing out of your network. wouldn't it be more secure to default everthing to inside your network unless you specifically allow it to be seen outside. it feel like a much unsafer sollution
[14:58:30] <tituspijean> hoks: feel free to post about it on the forum! I'll make an announcement of it.
[15:00:05] <tituspijean> Jojo: it's to make it usable on both local servers and VPS, for example. If you have apps you want to be accessible only locally, you can create .local domains.
[15:00:58] <Jojo> ahhh thank you that makes sense
[15:01:32] <tituspijean> And anyways, we have the SSO to secure the public-facing apps too
[15:05:19] <Jojo> how would setting up a local domain work
[15:05:25] <Jojo> i didn't find it in the wiki
[15:06:20] <tituspijean> https://yunohost.org/en/administer/admin_guide/domains#db3b5f09db2
[15:06:29] <Jojo> yeah sorry found it
[15:06:54] <tituspijean> Basically just add a domain.local and the server takes care of everything
[15:07:00] <tituspijean> No customization needed
[15:12:04] <hoks> @tituspijean: I posted it on forum.yunohost.org, discuss, (see https://forum.yunohost.org/t/expo-serendiep-in-rotterdam/21292). Is that the right way?
[15:14:21] <tituspijean> If you can specify the time too, and explain a bit more info on the lineup (what's required, etc.), that would be nice :)
[15:39:41] <hoks> @tituspijean: sure!  I added the line-up text, time and place.  Would be great if you can post it.
[15:40:39] <hoks> tituspijean: see https://forum.yunohost.org/t/expo-serendiep-in-rotterdam/21292
[15:43:09] <tituspijean> Done!
[15:45:04] <tytan652> Hello, I decided to begin preparing a backup to migrate to version 11 but I found out that I'm unable to make a backup of FreshRSS.
I got this error each time:

```log
2022-09-18 17:27:46,397: DEBUG - + ynh_mysql_dump_db --database=freshrss
2022-09-18 17:27:46,406: DEBUG - + mysqldump --single-transaction --skip-dump-date freshrss
2022-09-18 17:27:46,574: WARNING - mysqldump: Couldn't execute 'show create table `m*****_entrytag`': Table 'freshrss.m*****_entrytag' doesn't exist in engine (1932)
```

Does someone have an idea of my issue ?
[15:55:33] <hoks> @tituspijean: OK, great. Can you give me the link to the announcement, or is it just the one that I just made ?
[15:56:11] <tituspijean> I have transferred your post to the Announcement section, nohing more to do.
[15:57:15] <hoks> I see it. Thanks!
[17:08:22] <IΛM0DΛY> Hi... for someone is it possible to add Tailscale, Netbird and HashiCorp Vault applications to the catalog? I don't have time at the moment, otherwise I would have already contributed 😅
[20:21:44] <Melchisedech> Hi all
[20:22:28] <Melchisedech> Twice a day I’ve got this warning in my mailbox :
[20:22:31] <Melchisedech> [WARNING] DNS resolution seems to be working, but it looks like you're using a custom /etc/resolv.conf.
[20:22:31] <Melchisedech>   - The file /etc/resolv.conf should be a symlink to /etc/resolvconf/run/resolv.conf itself pointing to 127.0.0.1 (dnsmasq). If you want to manually configure DNS resolvers, please edit /etc/resolv.dnsmasq.conf.
[20:23:39] <Melchisedech> Thing is… 1) I don’ remember customing this file (content is : nameserver 8.8.8.8 which is NOT a thing I would have done by any means)
[20:24:49] <Melchisedech> 2) The /etc/resolvconf/run/resolv.conf doesn’t exist Even the /etc/resolvconf/run/ doesn’t exist.
[20:25:04] <Melchisedech> Even the /etc/resolvconf/run/ directory doesn’t exist.
[20:25:47] <Melchisedech> I’m running Yunohost 11 on a RPi 4.
[20:44:28] <interlaced> which was the page that shows the status of apps?
[21:15:42] <tituspijean> IΛM0DΛY: Feel free to add apps to the wishlist.
However, note that Tailscale server is close-source, so it won't be packageable for YunoHost.
Netbird is the best contender for managed VPN. it is already in the wishlist and I actually investigated it during the weekend. However I feel like we will have much difficulty packaging it (all releases are Docker-based, and it requires external SSO software which is little documented [and I don't know much about it. I tried with Dex but the requests got rejected due to a custom scope used by Netbird])

HashiCorp Vault can be included in the wishlist, but you should try Vaultwarden first. ;)
[21:16:01] <tituspijean> yves: hélas non.
[21:16:33] <tituspijean> interlaced: https://dash.yunohost.org/appsobservatory/news ?
