[09:22:16] <Sven88> Are there any Ideas ?
[09:23:28] <Sven88> It´s the testing installation, but it´s the same error on the regular installation!

[10:01:25] <GuillaumeMobius> Hello everybody,
[10:01:25] <GuillaumeMobius> I successfully installed yunohost on a Precision M4700. I use my own domain name. All works fine on the yunohost side.
[10:01:26] <GuillaumeMobius> What I try to do: Make sit on my yunohost machine the license server for a software (Simcenter STAR-CCM+). The software editor provides with the install file of the license server/service management program, the well known FlexNet.
[10:01:26] <GuillaumeMobius> The problem: The software editor provides the installation under 2 different forms: a ".bin" and a zipped folder. I downloaded the ".bin" and ran it as root through a putty ssh terminal. This operation, among other tasks, creates a directory in which a dozen of different scripts allow the user to control the license server (start, check status,
[10:01:27] <GuillaumeMobius> read license file, etc...).
[10:01:27] <GuillaumeMobius> I applied on this directory a chmod u+x. Yet Now, whatever if I place myself inside is directory af
[10:03:05] <GuillaumeMobius> yet whatever I do, the bash terminal sends me back the following error message and no script can be used:
[10:03:06] <GuillaumeMobius> -bash: ./lmutil: Aucun fichier ou dossier de ce type
[10:03:07] <GuillaumeMobius> Which translates as :
[10:03:07] <GuillaumeMobius> -bash: ./lmutil: no file or folder of that type
[10:03:55] <GuillaumeMobius> Could someone help me to set up correctly this program on the yunohost machine please?

I'm afraid your question is out of scope of a YunoHost server support... I suggest you look for a generic linux server system administration support room and give more information about the installation instructions you've got.
It is also risky to install any random (non-free?) software on a YunoHost server..
[10:43:25] <GuillaumeMobius> hi gredin67, and thanks a lot for your answer
[10:45:17] <GuillaumeMobius> ok I will try to seek help on other forums. I was used to Ubuntu and CentOs and had never seen a script being rejected before so I thought it had something to do with the Debian version and config yunohost installs
[10:50:13] <GuillaumeMobius> In the case there's indeed a link between this problem and something specific with the YunoHost environment and someone has the patience to help to make the right cohabitation between the Yunohost environment and FLEXlm license server happen, I'll drop a topic on the YunoHost forum
