[03:32:49] <Flyken> i want to use a reverse proxy alongside yunohost, but every time i try to set up a subdomain on my domain name, yunohost snatches it and displays the user panel
[03:37:16] <Flyken> im just going to uninstall yuno host, this is really annoying
[07:21:55] <tituspijean> Flyken: what about using a Redirect app in proxy mode or a recently packaged Reverseproxy app?
[07:21:56] <tituspijean> alwi: if you have said backup, sure. And indeed non-backed up data will be lost.
[08:41:39] <Yomgui> Hello,
[08:41:40] <Yomgui> I just reinstall Yunohost.
[08:41:40] <Yomgui> Not every thing goes wrong, but it is mainly my lack of backup. I will do better.
[08:46:59] <tituspijean> Yomgui: have you changed username? I don't see any reference to you or your potential issues in the chatroom history.
[08:47:01] <Yomgui> However, I cant get the mail server working fine.
[08:47:03] <Yomgui> Receving and sending mail is ok. But :
[08:47:04] <Yomgui> There is only the INBOX folder and I cant add other.
[08:47:05] <Yomgui> I try with thunderbird on my laptop (Ubuntu), and RoundMail on the Yunohost server.
[08:47:06] <Yomgui> Is there a way to get the default folder back ?
[08:47:09] <Yomgui> Bonjour,
[08:47:45] <Yomgui> No, it is my name, but "return" send the message before I finish to write it..
[08:48:23] <Yomgui> Last words are for tituspijean
[10:58:23] <🅞🅤🅕🅜🅘🅛🅞> Hello i've a problem with yunorunner, the service doesn't start and give me this error

[10:59:17] <🅞🅤🅕🅜🅘🅛🅞> I've updated this morning
[11:00:13] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> Oopsies
[11:54:51] <ruegi> I tried to upgrade Nextcloud from version 24.0.7 to version 25.
[11:55:13] <ruegi> The upgrade failed ; Log is https://paste.yunohost.org/raw/ejonaqabap
[11:56:15] <ruegi> I think, the error is : 1407 mysqldump: unknown variable 'skip-networking=0'
[11:56:16] <ruegi> BUt how can I correct it?
[12:09:07] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> can you share the result of `grep -nr networking /etc/mysql` ?
[12:14:40] <ruegi> root@gilbertnet:~# grep -nr networking /etc/mysql
[12:15:26] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> so you mean the output is empty ?
[12:15:31] <ruegi> My server says: /etc/mysql/mariadb.conf.d/50-server.cnf.dpkg-dist:28:# Instead of skip-networking the default is now to listen only on
[12:17:02] <ruegi> sorry, the chat didn't take the pasted lines. The line above was repeated twice
[12:22:44] <ruegi> The full comment is:
[12:22:44] <ruegi> I inspectd the file 50-server.cnf, and the above line turned out to be a part of a comment.
[12:22:45] <ruegi> "# Instead of skip-networking the default is now to listen only on
[12:22:46] <ruegi> # localhost which is more compatible and is not less secure."
[12:23:17] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> yeah nevermind this seems alright
[12:24:03] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> idk maybe let's try to dig further with : `grep -nr 'skip-networking' /etc/` (that's gonna take a bit more time i guess)
[12:29:23] <ruegi> The output was:
[12:31:20] <ruegi> this damn chat doesnt take my pasted lines and even doesnt uipload a simple text file!
[12:31:21] <ruegi> I try again:
[12:32:15] <ruegi> this damn chat doesnt take my pasted lines and even doesnt uipload a simple text file!
[12:32:16] <ruegi> I try again:
[12:34:14] <ruegi> Thank you for your answers, but this chat doesnt do well. I will try the support form.
[13:01:11] <Yomgui> Bonjour,
[13:01:48] <Yomgui> J'ai été déconnecté, est-ce qu'il y a un moyen de retrouver l'historique, au cas où ma question avait une réponse ?
[13:01:49] <Yomgui> Hello, my cnnection was closed. Is there a way to get the history, in case my question was answered ?
[13:01:53] <Yomgui> Guillaume.
[13:01:53] <Yomgui> Thanks,

(it seems to be working for me on our unstable CI so idk ... maybe the app did not upgrade the requirements.txt ... Which version did you upgrade from ?)

This brings the issue that your username is not searchable in Matrix/Element conversations history. So it's difficult to ping you too.😛

[18:36:35] <Salamandar[m]> I'm starting the package
[18:36:36] <Salamandar[m]> but it's crap, they need Ruby 3
[18:36:39] <Salamandar[m]> debian 11 is at ruby 2.7
[18:37:27] <Salamandar[m]> Or they provide a 630MB on disk .deb that includes ruby, gems etc
[18:37:42] <Salamandar[m]> shiet bad channel
[19:03:57] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> A 630mb .deb ? Wtf...
[19:33:55] <Salamandar[m]> Yeah
[21:35:43] <MyVote> what a "loud" silence here ;-)
[21:39:25] <ast3risk> hey, my rocket.chat failed. It seems the mongoDB database may not have been setup correctly. https://paste.yunohost.org/raw/uxicofivaq
[21:41:10] <ast3risk> I'm just wondering if it's something I did, or if the installer is actually broken, and what I can do to fix it
[22:14:44] <eric_G> ast3risk: Damn, this bug was supposed to be fixed 💩
[22:15:05] <ast3risk> > <@ericg:matrix.org> ast3risk: Damn, this bug was supposed to be fixed 💩

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
[22:15:26] <eric_G> I have reinstalled Rocket.Chat without issue
[22:15:30] <ast3risk> is there a quick fix for now, or do I have to wait for a PR?
[22:16:25] <ast3risk> all have failed
[22:16:26] <ast3risk> I've tried many times
[22:16:58] <eric_G> > <@ast3risk:matrix.org> is there a quick fix for now, or do I have to wait for a PR?

Nop, mongodb helper needs to be investigated
[22:17:18] <ast3risk> > <@ericg:matrix.org> Nop, mongodb helper needs to be investigated

K, I'll wait
[22:18:38] <ast3risk> I don't need the chat server right away
[22:22:15] <ast3risk> but that's really funny
[23:42:35] <DerpFox> Hello
[23:42:39] <DerpFox> Hello
