[06:41:35] <mczs> Hi
[07:12:52] <ynhuser> Hello, I am getting this error
[07:12:53] <ynhuser> https://prnt.sc/BKR5JAtAplhn
[07:13:15] <ynhuser> can someone help me out?
[08:12:51] <Cyber_gh0st> Have a good time. I installed a clean system and I have a problem with the dovecot servic. Could not execute the command 'systemctl start dovecot'. Error 500
[08:15:46] <tituspijean> ynhuser: have you tried opening that link in your browser? https://app.yunohost.org/default/v3/apps.json
[08:16:10] <tituspijean> Cyber_gh0st: please share dovecot service log, with the "Share with YunoPaste" button
[09:25:32] <tituspijean> > Here is the dovekot log: https://paste.yunohost.org/agakenihaw
[09:25:32] <tituspijean> Dang your answer was not sent to Matrix
[09:30:44] <tituspijean> If you come back, try checking that a particular package is installed : `sudo apt search dovecot-pop3d`
[10:18:12] <unicis> hi, how can we update the latest version of umami app manually? Several users are having issue with umami 2.2.0 version and need to upgrade to 2.3.0 version.

Testing already ships 2.3.0

`sudo yunohost app upgrade umami -u https://github.com/YunoHost-Apps/umami_ynh/tree/testing --debug`
[15:39:21] <JoeGR> dunno if I'm supposed to use french or english so: I have an update problem: I'm on version 11.1.17 and I don't see any update, either on the admin or in the terminal. :)
[16:10:30] <Chatpitaine Caverne> JoeGR: Do you have Terminal access ?
Maybe try `sudo yunohost tools update system`
Hopefully, you gonna have error messages ?
Or check the Tools/Services/Yunohost-api Log .
[18:57:10] <Jeidnx> Hey there

I am trying to install yunohost on bare metal. When i get to the Partition disks step it warns me that there may be other Legacy OSs installed, which is weird because the disk is wiped. Of course i choose force uefi installation and then it complains afterwards that no EFI partition was found. Regardless what kind of partitioning method i select. From there on i can't even get back to the partitioning menu, it always complains about the missing efi partition. The only way to get out of the loop is to continue without an efi partition which obviously won't work. I have also encountered the same issue as in https://github.com/YunoHost/issues/issues/1762 but that went away after choosing a different oprom for my sas controller
[19:20:20] <@err404:matrix.org> Jeidnx: can you try to install some another linux distro on your bare metal and see if you have the same issue?
[19:23:41] <Jeidnx> > <@err404:matrix.org> Jeidnx: can you try to install some another linux distro on your bare metal and see if you have the same issue?

I had arch installed before with no issues. I just did some debugging and the installer actually did create a 250MB efi partition. It just marked the partition as linux filesystem instead of EFI system. I should be able to get this working. But still curious why the installer would create an efi partition with the wrong type
[19:29:26] <Jeidnx> Ok i know. It created a seperate partition for /boot, not an efi partition
[19:33:01] <Jeidnx> yeah and it somehow provisioned space for a mbr. Seems like the partitioner created a layout for legacy boot, but i don't know why
[19:44:47] <Jeidnx> > <@err404:matrix.org> Jeidnx: can you try to install some another linux distro on your bare metal and see if you have the same issue?

Just installed Debian 11 with no Problems. I selected full disk in the partition step and it created everything as i would expect
[19:54:41] <@err404:matrix.org> ok, I don't have any more ideas for the moment
[19:55:53] <Chatpitaine Caverne> Jeidnx: Starting from a Debian 11, go for script install of Yunohost
