[01:21:33] <craigvb[m]> > <@titus[m]:libera.chat> craigvb[m]: there are logs history in the webadmin

https://paste.yunohost.org/qigeyagaqa I think I got it right?
[09:26:12] <ljf[m]> > <@ynhuser:libera.chat> Hello, I have a problem with samba

Yes and i don't know who publish this package cause it shouldn't for the moment...
[12:00:47] <tituspijean> yalh[m]: 👈😇
[12:02:11] <Sam78> Hi, under domains, certificate, the option of getting an ssl certificate is not green but shaded. Is there a limit of numbers of letsencrypt-certificates for subdomains?
[12:06:15] <Sam78> The diagnosis says that the dns records are all right.
[12:06:15] <tituspijean> There is a limit, but it is not why the button is grayed out. Make sure the Diagnosis system is satified with your DNS records ;)
[12:09:15] <Sam78> weird, now it worked.
[12:09:15] <tituspijean> Can you try going through SSH to try the command `sudo yunohost domain cert install`?
[12:09:22] <Sam78> without doing anything
[12:10:02] <Sam78> but I'm happy, so thanks for the support, Titus (y)
[14:10:44] <tituspijean> I'm guessing it was some caching going on. The Diagnosis was not happy initially, preventing you from generating the certificate. When you launched it again, it found everything was alright and unblocked the button. :)
[14:10:45] <tituspijean> Enjoy YunoHost! 🚀
[14:12:48] <Cally> i got message: could not fetch source files, is the URL correct? how can i fix it?
[14:19:51] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> by providing us with contect and full logs, cf this room's topic ...
[14:20:54] <sam83> Hi, does anyone have a solution for the "Login failed: username/password combination does not exist" error when first accessing traggo? When installing traggo via yunohost, what is the standard user/admin? I am asked to enter a password on install but it doesn't have a username.
[14:22:02] <sam83> I looked on github already but there wasn't an explanation or a solution.
[14:29:47] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> sam83: the app asked you to define admin / passwords credentials during the install ... dont thoe work ?
[14:29:48] <sam83> no
[14:30:54] <sam83> It ask to make a "verwaltungspasswort" which equals as admin password to me but no admin credential. But it keeps repeating the error when you enter user admin and the defined pw.
[14:32:41] <sam83> i was aked to set a password but this does not work
[14:32:41] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> "no they don't work", or "no i was not asked for admin / password during the install" ?
[14:33:50] <sam83> https://github.com/traggo/server/issues/128
[14:34:13] <sam83> This is the same issue on github, i guess.
[14:34:46] <sam83> But the developer points the issue towards the yunohost community.
[14:43:13] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> the admin/password credentials should be stored in `/var/www/traggo/.env`
[14:43:13] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> can you double check what's in there ?
[14:43:13] <sam83> Thank you SOOOO much. :] (y)
[14:43:32] <sam83> Found it and the mistake was in front of the screen, of course.
[15:28:07] <Ryuuka> Can i install YunoHost on a Deb10 VPS?
[15:28:58] <Ryuuka> i got trapped in a contract learning about the shared kernel way too late
[15:29:17] <Ryuuka> now i cannot upgrade the kernel on that vps to get to deb11
[15:54:21] <Ryuuka> different question for a different solution: can i extract a pleroma installation out of yunohost and use it independantly
[16:00:45] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> was it a typo in your password or something ...?
[16:00:46] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> :|
[17:30:15] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> yes
[17:30:15] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> > <@Xananax:matrix.org> That's a service?

yes
[17:30:26] <xananax> ok
[17:30:27] <xananax> Thanks!
[18:11:57] <oatwalker (old account)> I'll try nuking and paving the server as I think it's a bug. I don't see why the diagnosis would be happy with the `_xmpp-client._tcp` but not the `_xmpp-server._tcp` when they're formatted the same if not some edge case bug.
[18:11:58] <oatwalker (old account)> Once I get this working I'll submit a pull request to the wiki of an example of how to format DNS with Namecheap. I can't be the only that struggles with this.
[18:11:58] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> > <@Alekswag:matrix.org> actually fuck it, let me try to implement a patch for this in the code so that yunohost stops complaining about 128

https://github.com/YunoHost/yunohost/commit/70a8225b1de0f9f36d0d8d727e4c218d7ecd30a5 should do it #yolo
[18:11:59] <oatwalker (old account)> I don't know why I'm marking out my domain as it's not a secret 😅
[18:11:59] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> > <@woat:matrix.org> I'll try nuking and paving the server as I think it's a bug. I don't see why the diagnosis would be happy with the `_xmpp-client._tcp` but not the `_xmpp-server._tcp` when they're formatted the same if not some edge case bug.

could you share what the diagnosis complains about exactly x_x
[18:11:59] <oatwalker (old account)> https://aria.im/_matrix/media/v1/download/matrix.org/dlIInxosOKjagNbYgptYTbvb
[18:11:59] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> yeah still that prevent people from being sneaky
[18:11:59] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> naively that might be a cache issue, I would double check with https://globaldnschecker.com/ that the SRV record does not exists
[18:12:00] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> (`_xmpp-server._tcp.yourdomain.tld`, with type = SRV)
[18:13:25] <zek> Ищу работу
[18:32:04] <sudoku> hello everyone,

I need your advice about sending mails.

History:
- debian installed on VPS
Linux myHostName 5.10.0-19-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 5.10.149-2 (2022-10-21) x86_64 GNU/Linux

- yunohost fresh installed
- postinstallation steps done
- self-diagnostic function thinks everything is ok
- SnappyMail installed
- can receive mails
- Sending mail not possible with message in mail.log

- Sending mail via shell command line works fine

What could it be, where can I look further for a bug in my config?

Thanks

[18:32:04] <Taylor IsHere> In the past, I've had Ubuntu Server able to show up
[18:32:04] <Taylor IsHere> Wanted to see if anyone ran into this
[18:32:06] <Taylor IsHere> Hey! I'm having trouble getting Yunohost to install - I have an Intel NUC, and have flashed the drive with the amd64 stable iso - when I go into the BIOS boot menu, the drive doesn't show up :(
[19:00:52] <mcmic> Does anyone have resources on how to fix a pleroma instance with DB issues? Like ways to check DB setup/content. Since the failed update I never managed to get it back to work… I restored the backup again but same result.
[19:51:42] <Aya (。♡‿♡。)> Hey, I have a question
Is there a way to get yunohost working for my homeserver if my ISP blocks needed ports?
[19:57:08] <mcmic> With a VPN you could, not sure if there are other solutions.
[20:02:11] <Aya (。♡‿♡。)> Oki tnx, have to try
[20:16:28] <oatwalker (old account)> > <@Alekswag:matrix.org> (`_xmpp-server._tcp.yourdomain.tld`, with type = SRV)

I just did that. It failed. So it's not a bug with Yunohost.

`_xmpp-client._tcp.yourdomain.tld` did pass
[20:16:28] <oatwalker (old account)> I keep checking the entry on Namecheap for a typo but I can't find one. I just deleted the entry and re-typed it just in case.
[20:27:35] <gilrob> Hi, I upgrade yunohost 4.3 > yunohost 11 but I can’t boot after. My /boot partition cantains only 3 files and 1 folder.??Îve made backup before but not thé boot partition. How do I do now?
[21:03:27] <anubis> if you have backup the easiest would be to reinstall and then restore the backups
[21:24:56] <oatwalker (old account)> I got my DNS problem fixed. I'm not sure why but simply deleting the SRV entry and recreating it did the trick.

I'll create a pull request for the wiki to hopefully help other Namecheap users in the future. It might take a couple days though as I'm busy playing with Yunohost atm 😀
[23:47:41] <Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> Borg ftw
