[05:06:52] <priyanshu007> Hii
[05:46:42] <jamesduro> Hello, is it possible to register for the yunohost SSO via the portal?

I would like my family members to be able to register without me creating an account for them each time!
[06:25:37] <Guillaume Bouzige> > <@tdlf32:matrix.org> Hello, is it possible to register for the yunohost SSO via the portal?

hello james, you cannot do that and you have to setup each of your family account yourself.
[06:27:22] <jamesduro> > hello james, you cannot do that and you have to setup each of your family account yourself.

Is there any way for visitors to register from outside?
[06:31:52] <Guillaume Bouzige> there is not. the admin create the users accounts.
[07:45:09] <jamesduro> Is this a feature that is planned?
Because it would be much easier to allow people to register on yunohost!
[07:47:58] <tituspijean> Yes, we know. It requires quite an overhaul of core features of YunoHost, and we have not gotten around that yet
[07:50:47] <mavric34> > <@titus:pijean.ovh> Yes, we know. It requires quite an overhaul of core features of YunoHost, and we have not gotten around that yet

Do you think this is a feature that can be implemented in 2023 ?
[07:51:45] <jamesduro> > <@titus:pijean.ovh> Yes, we know. It requires quite an overhaul of core features of YunoHost, and we have not gotten around that yet

Glad to know it's planned :)
[07:53:32] <tituspijean> We do not give timelines, as we consistently do not respect them when we try. :) Reminder: all contributors are volunteers with their own "real" jobs when they are not fighting BigTech and Internet centralization by night.
[07:55:31] <jamesduro> We would still be very happy to see this feature one day :)
[07:57:10] <tituspijean> *oh yeah*

Do you think it takes a lot of work to implement this feature?
[08:03:30] <tituspijean> Yes. For more technical information, refer to https://github.com/YunoHost/issues/issues/1677

Do not post there asking for timelines and only posting "+1". That is not appreciated. 😅
[08:07:17] <tituspijean> Basically we know it will be a massive advancement for YunoHost when it is implemented, we need the will and the time to do it right :)
[08:11:12] <jamesduro> I will make prayers for you tomorrow, that God will give you all the will to implement this feature 🙏
[09:35:40] <barking bandicoot> Hello all! I have a test version of Yunohost in Virtualbox. I have installed two apps but neither will load! Could anyone point me in the direction to troubleshoot? Thanks.
[10:41:25] <Chatpitaine Caverne> > <@titus:pijean.ovh> Yes. For more technical information, refer to https://github.com/YunoHost/issues/issues/1677

It looks to me like a beautiful way to learn how to help with Yunohost programmation.
[14:16:33] <slyvioborin> I literally deleted every file but it broke Yunohost so restored from backup
[14:16:34] <bormay[m]> logfiles shouldn't be causing an issue for your system
[14:16:40] <ddggo> The weird part is even the wayback machine don't have an archive of that web page https://web.archive.org/web/20220219230928/https://yunohost.org/en/app_adguardhome
[14:16:40] <ddggo> Hello everyone
[14:16:40] <ddggo> It seems that the documentation section is offline https://yunohost.org/en/app_adguardhome can someone help please, thanks!
[14:16:41] <orhtej2> > <@snagglepuss:matrix.org> Hello all! I have a test version of Yunohost in Virtualbox. I have installed two apps but neither will load! Could anyone point me in the direction to troubleshoot? Thanks.

How do you assess they're not working?
[14:18:01] <orhtej2> > <@ddggo:libera.chat> The weird part is even the wayback machine don't have an archive of that web page https://web.archive.org/web/20220219230928/https://yunohost.org/en/app_adguardhome

Perhaps the app does not have documentation, the link in README is auto generated
[14:20:11] <ddggo> can you access the documentation from https://yunohost.org/en/app_adguardhome ?
[14:28:24] <orhtej2> https://github.com/YunoHost-Apps/adguardhome_ynh/blob/master/README.md
[14:30:41] <orhtej2> No, it throws the same error for all apps for past week or so. Still, I think that archived 404 indicates adguard comes with no extra doc other than README
[14:42:37] <gadgetboy> Greetings, yunohosters. I've installed Ghost but am unable to administer it. The URL for the yunohost docs for this app is failing. Can someone give me some pointers on how do login to Ghost as an admin for the first time?
[14:42:48] <ddggo> understood, should I report this issue on the doc github or is it already known?
[14:43:32] <gadgetboy> I do not know if it's already been reported.
[15:02:59] <tituspijean> gadgetboy: if you install it on domain.tld/blog, then the admin panel is on domain.tld/blog/ghost

Have you tried that?
[15:05:06] <gadgetboy> Thanks for the prompt. I have the admin screen loaded now.
[16:48:09] <tituspijean> gadgetboy which YunoHost version have you installed? (in the latest ones, you get a banner in the webadmin stating what I wrote 😉 )
[17:13:44] <mooramask> hi everyone, i'm having troubles with my server, i need to restore my backup but I don't know in what directory to put it to run the command "yunohost backup restore"
[17:42:09] <tituspijean> mooramask hi! here is the documentation about it: https://yunohost.org/en/backup#upload-an-archive
basically, in `/home/yunohost.backup/archives`
[17:42:29] <mooramask> ok, thank you very much <3
[20:38:24] <laguill13> Hi everyone
I have a server with a 125GB ssd and 2TB hdd.
How can i configure the hdd to store the data files on the first install of yunohost ?

Do I need to use the expert install ?
[23:59:46] <Jordan77> I need help with new nohost install.  When i try to access a app via the domain url i just get redirected to my router login
