<JorgeLuis_> Hi, has anyone here experience with setting up S3 storage for a mastodon instance on ynh?
[08:37:17]
<Guillaume Bouzige> nope not me, have a look in forum maybe

<tane> > <JorgeLuis_> Hi, has anyone here experience with setting up S3 storage for a mastodon instance on ynh?
Maybe try contacting this person on the forum. They appear to have set up s3 as the backend but were possibly having trouble with nginx.

<JorgeLuis_> Thanks. I will try messaging them. Altough, there was no reply to his query and their website is offline

<karl> JorgeLuis_ This matrix forum is a good place for help #mastodon_admin:matrix.org. You can also ask the fediverse with hashtag #mastoadmin.

<thatoo> Bonsoir
[18:38:10]
<thatoo> Le diag de Yunohost me dit
```
La résolution DNS semble fonctionner, mais il semble que vous utilisez un /etc/resolv.conf personnalisé.
Le fichier /etc/resolv.conf doit être un lien symbolique vers /etc/resolvconf/run/resolv.conf lui-même pointant vers 127.0.0.1 (dnsmasq). Si vous souhaitez configurer manuellement les résolveurs DNS, veuillez modifier /etc/resolv.dnsmasq.conf.
```
[18:39:10]
<thatoo> et si je regarde dans mon yunohost en sssh, j'ai
```
aaaa@bbbb:~$ cat /etc/resolv.conf
# Dynamic resolv.conf(5) file for glibc resolver(3) generated by resolvconf(8)
# DO NOT EDIT THIS FILE BY HAND -- YOUR CHANGES WILL BE OVERWRITTEN
# 127.0.0.53 is the systemd-resolved stub resolver.
# run "resolvectl status" to see details about the actual nameservers.
nameserver 192.168.1.1
aaaa@bbbb:~$ ls -al /etc/resolv.conf
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 31 17 août 2020 /etc/resolv.conf -> /etc/resolvconf/run/resolv.conf
aaaa@bbbb:~$ cat /etc/resolv.dnsmasq.conf.
cat: /etc/resolv.dnsmasq.conf.: Aucun fichier ou dossier de ce type
```

<thatoo> que puis-je faire pour contenter le diag de yunohost?
[19:28:57]
<phinero> Fresh installed YunoHost, is absolutely clean, only first user. The Webmin installation spoiled everything. I think it breaks permissions down. I lost SSH connection (Permission denied (public key) - the solution is \`chmod 0700 /home/user but I even can't login server via VNC. It asks password for the first user and I get login/password error. This login/pass works for the Webadmin without any issues). Now I can't login via VNC&SSH, only Webadmin. So I can't change permissions for /home/user to repaire my SSH. Any ideas?
[19:28:58]
<Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> by "webmin" do you mean "webmin the app", or "webmin" as "the yunohost webadmin"
[19:29:00]
<phinero> > <@Alekswag:matrix.org> by "webmin" do you mean "webmin the app", or "webmin" as "the yunohost webadmin"
Of course, Webmin App (Not **Webadmin**)
[19:29:08]
<Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> well yeah i don't know why people would like to install webmin in yunohost, this is like two solutions trying to sort of achieve the same thing (=manage the entire system) sooooo
[19:29:09]
<Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> not surprised it breaks shit
[19:29:14]
<phinero> Understood, already deleted it but still can't get SSH working. On my old Yuno I had two users (admin&user) and I used to use **admin** acc to login via VNC to repair permissions. Now I can't login using **user** account (. All the doors are closed except Web**a**dmin )😀
[19:29:25]
<Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> 😬
[19:29:41]
<Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> well you can install shellinabox ...
[19:49:24]
<phinero> Great, many thanks to you! That's what I needed. 👍️
[20:01:57]
<phinero> yet another question:
Is possible to use WireGuard (as standalone, Not as yuno app) and YunoHost
I'll try to explain why I need this combination. If I use WG yunoapp I can't access my server via SSH (only via VNC) - no answer from the server (that's why I used to use Webmin's terminal to control the server). And the connection to my Nextcloud doesn't work properly. Or it isn't a good idea?

<Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> why people always want to do funky super technical stuff instead of just installing classic apps x_x

<Aleks (he/him/il/lui)> yes you can install wireguard, but then "using wireguard and yunohost" can mean 10 different things

<klorydryk[m]> Bonsoir ! Après une tentative de restauration d'un Wordpress (parmi tout un tas d'autres applications qui se sont correctement restaurées), j'ai obtenu cette erreur :
Préparation de l'archive pour restauration...
Restauration de wordpress...
Failed to read info for wordpress : Erreur inconnue en essayant de lire le fichier /etc/yunohost/apps/wordpress/doc/DESCRIPTION_fr.md (raison :'utf-8' codec can't decode byte 0xe9 in position 64: invalid continuation byte)
Failed to read info for wordpress : Erreur inconnue en essayant de lire le fichier /etc/yunohost/apps/wordpress/doc/DESCRIPTION_fr.md (raison :'utf-8' codec can't decode byte 0xe9 in position 64: invalid continuation byte)
Merci !
